Lucky Strike Original Portions Or Whites?

I just started my first tin of Ettan and it it is GOOD! Now I'm considering more of the tobacco flavored offerings and thought LS would be a good start. Are either of the portion offerings better or the difference just a longer wait for the nic hit with the whites? I read here that Ettan might be a little mild in a WP so went with the OPs,great mild tobacco taste with ...nuts? I got a little HB from the liquid smoke but not bad. Also do both of the Pall Malls have a citrus flavoring or is one straight? I'll be picking up a can or two of Retro too.
    Thanks

The citrus in Pall Mall is very, very subtle and does not distract from the tobacco taste. Same goes for Retro which has a slight hint of juniper berries but mostly has a clean tobacco taste. The thing I like about both of these is that they do not have the strong liquid smoke taste that Ettan has, I don't mind the flavor but it leaves a strange film in my throat.

Lucky Strike is pretty much citrus-flavored, not really pure-tobacco. It's similar to General, but not as (over)flavored, which is a huge plus in my book.

I've only used Lucky Strike Original until now, since I don't like white portions in general. It is a very good brand and absolutely worth a try.

Mocca+ (mini) has another pure tobacco-flavored portion, that I think is absolutely worth a try. Don't be fooled by the size. It really kicks! A large portion of that brand would be a real killer.

      Cheers!

I found the Lucky Strike original "too much"? the smoke flavor just a bit more than I liked. I tried the Whites and absolutely loved them, one of my top 5 still.
