The poll is a bit misleading, since we're talking about little money actually saved. For that matter, retooling the plants that currently make the double lid would drive prices up.

None the less, I use the double lid quite often. When I'm sitting in class, it's much easier and more discreet to simply remove the portion from my mouth and put it in the lid, then to get up and walk to the trashcan.

Every once in a while the lid comes in very handy, but I wouldn't be sad to see it go. I also don't mind spending twenty extra cents. Doesn't matter.

Say you go through 3 cans a week. 20 cents per can a week is 60 cents. That amounts to about 30 dollars a year. Granted not much but to me that is two extra cases of beer!

Exactly. I don't have a metal can, but I never use the double lids for my used snus anyway; there is always a trash can near me at work and home.

I use loose most of the time, but during meetings I use portions. A lot of times I can't get to a trash can for a couple of hours, so a double lid is nice -- if it doesn't increase the cost too much. Worst case scenario I can always carry an empty tin for used snus.

90% of the time I am around a trash can of some sort. However, the times I have utilized the "double" lid it was invaluable. Think long car rides, meetings, at a crowded tavern, etc. It's always nice to know I got a place to keep a spent portion. I vote yes to double lids.

I voted doesn't matter though I wouldn't like it if no snus that I liked came with it. I always use empty cans to put my supply of portions that I will be using while I am away, and leave the bulk of them in the fridge, and I always use a can that has the double lid for the occassion that I need it, but for my supply in the fridge I could care less.

how about ditching the double lid, give me 20¢ worth more portions and keep the price the same.

It does come in handy sometimes, but I hardly ever use it. It's main purpose for the time being is to annoy the shit out of everyone around me by clicking it on and off when I'm bored.

I see more comments regarding the V2 products when it comes to the portion pouches rather than the cans. You mentioned the lid would only increase the cost approximately $.20 usd per can. I would be curious to know how much the increase per can would be if you chose a different pouch material that was maybe a little higher in quality or along the lines of the type of pouches some of the longer snuser's here have preferred.

I read constantly regarding the V2 products that the Los always seems to go over with people really well but when it comes to the portions is where it seems to run into trouble with people talking about extra chemical tastes. Is it possible to look at that as a means to help V2 with its future productions of portions? Maybe the pouch material is getting in the way of the quality tobacco you seem to be using that comes through with the Los but not as much the portions.

To clarify, I like both of your products, both portion and Los but I do notice the difference in the portion material. I just choose to ignore the difference because you have kept me and others in mind with keeping a good price point. I guess I am suggesting maybe a poll regarding the portion material if your interested.

Well, if it keeps the price low, keep it off. I always wear cargo pants and I always have a few paper towels in one pocket so getting rid of a spent pouch is never a problem.

Double lid is a big plus to me and is one of the factors in the snus I buy for my workday. At home it is not as big a deal, but my office is tobacco free, as are all the company cars and I love the ability to ditch a snus quickly no matter where I am. If I go to a restaurant, I can keep my snus in until the food comes and then discreetly dispose of it at the table. Basically, if I am leaving my house, the snus that is with me will have the snus catcher lid. I experiment with other brands at home or if I am working around the yard.

I used American dip until recently and many of my friends still dip. I am spreading the word about snus to all of them and unanimously every one thought the snus catcher lid was the coolest thing and we all wondered why Skoal never did anything similar with their pouch dip.
