    HELP AMERICAN RELAPSE

So ive been snussing for about 3 months now. I have not smoked a single cig but........ I ended out sticking myself with 3 rolls of general extra sterk. In the past three weeks though Ive been buying american dip more frequently ahhhhhh. I had never tried it before and am finding myself liking it. Please help. At first I just found I got a better buzz and nic fix. But now unlike with snus I find I am going through a hell of alot of this shit. I need to get back on track with snus. My only fear is that now I wont get enough nicotine. Any suggestions would help.

Oh and hey everyone I know I have been ghost for a while. Has zero started posting again yet?

Well, I don't think American dip is nearly as bad as it was in the past from what I have read.

If you keep obsessing over not using it, you most likely will use it more. You will beat your self up over it and it's a downer! If you like it, then use it.

If you feel you are using too much, back down some and use less

Don't beat yourself up over it. American dip is still many many times less worse for you than smoking.

If I couldn't get snus I most likely wouldn't have an issue with using dip as a replacement.

Sterk portions are your friend. And General is making Sterk Los (or is it Extra Sterk Los). And Skruf Stark. 16mg of nicotine per portion; you can't go wrong. If all else fails shotgun an extra portion (just not to strong portions at once, unless your tolerance is that high).

Dip something made by Swedish Match, such as Red Man, Longhorn, or Timberwolf; they have TSNA levels comparable to snus.

Just use what you like and stop your stressing about it. You decide you prefer the American than good for you, you found something you liked.

Look, in the end, the one thing that binds most of us that use snus is we decided for ourselves what was best for us, we didn't listen to anyone else. If in your case, that means you use American dip, then good for you. YOUR decision, no one elses!!

And haven't seen much of zero. Will pass him soon enough.

Yeah, I say who cares? If you like a dip every now and again, do it! I haven't had any snus for about a month, and I've been getting down with Timberwolf FC Natural. It tastes just like Copenhagen, but it's $1.25 a can. I'm finally ordering more snus in the morning because I don't like carrying a bottle around in public. Plus, since I got back from sea, a bunch of new snus have hit the market and I mist try...

I would not worry about it so much. I use American Moist snuff at times also. No rule says you have to use one or the other. The TSNA in American moist snuff is getting very low, although not as low as snus.

Where did you read that? (Very curious. If that's true, I'll glady go to Timberwolf or Longhorn)

Timber Wolf, made by Swedish Match, had the lowest TSNA values of the domestic brands tested. This illustrates that the technology exists to manufacture moist snuff with low levels of carcinogenic nitrosamines.

All the "dip" brands manufactured by Swedish Match have comparable TSNA levels to Timberwolf, which is only slightly higher than traditional Swedish snus.

You sir, have just made my day.

Snus is great and all, with the no spitting... but when I'm at home, watching TV, playing video games, surfing the internet... I could careless about spitting.

If Timberwolf is comparable to snus, I will be getting a can tomorrow for when I'm at home, or don't feel like Snus.

                      Thank you

The fine cut Natural tastes almost exactly like Copenhagen, too, and it's only $1.25 a can!

When I used to smoke, I was partial to Skoal Spearmint. I would buy myself a tin once every blue moon and use it ONLY at home behind locked doors. I didn't want to associate with the typical dip user but Skoal Spearmint tastes so damn good. I have been thinking about getting a can for old times sake but I really don't think it's a good idea, regardless of nitrosamines, because it contains lots of tooth rotting sugar and preservatives plus unnatural additives to mess up your body with.
