    Cooool.....

Been snusing now for just over two weeks, during which I've been (almost) smoke-free from the start.

Today we had a medical emergency out here on the rig, and when things had calmed down slightly I bummed a smoke from my boss and went to the coffee-shack for a quick break. (couldn't be bothered to go and get my snus and needed a quick nic fix!)

The cig dealt with my craving in the short term, and I suppose I enjoyed it at the time, but the funny thing is that it didn't start me craving more cigs. Now every time I've quit before, that situation would have resulted in me smoking heavily again!

Looks like now I can have a smoke if I really want to or the situation demands it, but not go back to the same old unhealthy routine. This is how I dreamt of being for YEARS!!

Bingo, I have been talking about that for almost years now. Snus has brought me the joy of having a cigarette when I want one, not when I need one. And that cigarette doesn't lead to another, it just is.

      Yea, That's awesome :^)

Whenever I used to try cutting down on cigarettes, I had issues smoking just 1 or 2. I thought the first one tasted so good, I'd have 10 more :^D

Now I can can smoke 1 cigarette, it tastes great, but that's it for awhile. The most I've smoked in 1 day is 3, and that was just once. I usually go days before having a cigarette.

Congratulations. It's nice smoking like you did when you first started, eh?

Damn, I wish I could say the same. On Friday my friend bought a pack of Marlboro Reds and didn't want them, so foolishly I took them home. Guess what I did yesterday? Smoked a whole pack of Reds, which I think are terrible cigs to begin with! What the hell's wrong with me? Oh well. Good news is that they are gone and I'm enjoying a portion of N&J as I type

If they aren't around, I won't smoke 'em. I need to keep away from cigs because without them tempting me, I'm perfectly content with snus. As it should be. Damn you cigarettes!
