    Pris shapes

How many of you employ the wedge technique? One of the cleanest ways for me to bake a pris is to pinch a wedge, and basically make an A-frame shape, or a 3-dimensional triangle. The tip of the wedge goes way up to the top of lip, and the flat bottom rests nicely near the top of my teeth, which I can lick for flavor without damaging the pris (I know how much you want to read about me licking my pris -- imagine what that term would sound like to some random person).

This may be a very common method, I have no idea. Just though I would inquire about it since it works for me and does not at all resemble the more traditional cylindrical/rectangular pris. i think I'm addicted to this damn forum :?

The pyramid shape doesn't feel very good against my gums. Tends to make them sore. Cylindrical all the way.

When handbaking, mine are shaped like an American football. I almost always use my 3ml IceTool though, so it's 2 clicks long, and a perfect cylinder :^)

docecahedron. thank you ladies and germs, ill be here all week!

Really, i think thats why the hillbilly works for me, it is basically a wedge, but it goes in the reverse of what you describe (skinny end towards teeth, fat up top). that way, the weight is up high, and lip pressure holds it, but the other way, i think (with me, at least) it would be more apt to run.

Mine come from my icetool 99.9% of the time. .005% is hillbilly, and the last .005 is a hand-baked cylinder.

Yeah, I was going to say than the hilbilly makes a rough pyramid but I guess I'm late on that one...

Mine end up different every time. Function over form.....or maybe it's laziness over both of those, I'm not sure. :P

Xobe, I know you are good at handbaking, so why do you use the icetool so much?

I believe I can answer that one...dirty job, dirty hands, clean snus. Same with me, I always have metal shavings, or grime, or some kind of oil, hydraulic or motor, or paint on my hands, so the icetool keeps that out of my mouth. Big plus. At home, I'll usually just take a hilbilly pinch or maybe bake it a little, but at work, it's almost always icetool.
