Dr Gaff makes some interesting points, but the article still manages to smack of scare-mongering and prejudice.

Name the method, and I've tried it. They all suck to varying degrees. Snus is the only thing that has worked long-term.

Agian with the tired "I'm worried that kids will use snus" routine

I saw a commercial tonight:

"New Icey Mint Whitening Gum, freshens your breath while it cleans your teeth!"

Oops it's Nicorette's new flavor. Tell me, which one appeals to kids.... Icey Whitening Gum or Snus/Snuff/Whatever

The point that is forgotten by the good Dr. is the fact that some people simply don't want to quit. I love nicotine, used to smoke and I know smoking a cigarette introcuces the body to zillions of chemicals. I am pretty content, happy and enjoy my snus to the max and no plans to quit snus. I figured even breathing too much can be fatal as one gets old and die.
