it is kind of funny to learn that sometimes two products are on the shelf are identical in content only different labels. then later on hear someone talking about how one product is superior to the other.

Getting back on topic!

Just tried the Oden Extra Sterk Cinnamon. This is stuff tatses really good! The cinnamon is not too subtle but not overwhelming. I can definiently notice more nicotine than usual. I've had it in for about 15min and I'm slightly lightheaded, been a while since I've felt that and I'm not really enjoying it. The portion material is pretty thin and different from SM products. It's been 3 or more months since I have had a V2 portion but Oden seems to have better portion material. Not sure if it will be in my regular rotation but will without doubt be an occasional snus.

A must try!

BTW, my Thunder from Buysnus and Oden from Northerner arrived on the same day. How exciting. More reviews to come!

Not much a strong tobacco taste that I'm used to but it doesn't bother me. I can definitely notice more nicotine than usual. mmm cinnamon. Its exactly what I wanted. Had it in for about a half hour now and it has been nothing but good for me.... Only thing i dont like the portion material.

Maybe im crazy, but I detected no cinnamon taste from the cinnamon Oden's® ™.
The initial taste I got was similar to the Nordstrommen's Julssnus. :?

Maybe its because I have a cold and my taste is all f'ed up, but I just didnt get a cinnamon flavor from the portioned Oden's® ™, but I have some los in original and cinnamon Oden's® ™ on the way. Maybe it will be different.

It has to be the cold my friend. Oden's Cinnamon is totally different from julesnus.

I have sinus/upper respiratory infection right now and can see where you are coming from with that comparison though. The julesnus did have cinnamon as one of it's flavors.

if you go to the v2 site it says they will make your snus for you. i'm guessing someone contracted v2 to make oden maybe.

Don't be too quick to hang Oden's Snus on V2. There are some interesting rumors floating around about Gajane as well as some interesting facts. SnusCentral.com carries Oden's, our representative met with Gajane, and instead of getting answers, we left them with a long list of questions. Love it or hate it, I would not hang ownership on V2 until all the facts come out.

I ordered a sample tin of Oden's Cinnamon (8mg) and received a tin of the Classic (8mg) in error. Eh, I was curious, so why not try one.

The portion material is reasonably silky, but tends to wrinkle, both in the can and under the lip. This isn't because the packets are less full, indeed there appears to be more volume of snus than in a Skruf original portion (the only original portion I have out for comparison). That may just be because the snus is moister. Otherwise the portions are identical in dimensions, the only visible difference being the pattern in the longitudinal seam.

The taste is tobacco, with flavorings of perhaps sarsaparilla (it definitely has a root beer taste behind mild tobacco), and a touch of cinnamon as well (and this in the classic). Seems low in salt, so its relatively sweet, compared to other more traditional snus portions I've tried. I taste no pepper or citrus, so contrary to a comment elsewhere, Oden Classic is not going for the General flavor profile.

After 30 mins, the cinnamon is definitely reduced, but the root beer sarsaparilla notes are still present.
