I think I'd prefer the regular as I prefer the "mellow" over the "frost". If you want, send me a can of each and I'll send you the two un-opened cans I have left (general portion and white portion).

Dunno - I wouldn't be intimidated at all by loose snus. The first time is not difficult, but it may take up to 20 or 30 times to start to get your personal style and preference, which includes drinking with it (not hard). My own style is still evolving after 9 months, and I have to say loose is the way to go, even though I still like the immediacy of portions.

If you're a fan of portions, I'd like to recommend you try Claq Qui, which is one of the sweeter snuses I've tried, but in a good way (sort of like chocolate cherry), and packs a nice punch. Good luck to you.

Thanks for the heads up - would've been nice to know before I ordered! j/k :P

Eventually I think I'll start using the loose, still getting into the swing of things. Hell, I don't even know what I'm gonna like yet.

And what's the deal with the little metal portioning thing? I've seen them on most sites going for like 40 bucks?

Does it change channels on the tv? Wash your dishes? 40 bucks... I saw they have what looks to be a plastic one on there for about 1.50. I'd be interested to know what makes it worth the extra scratch.

Well among other things, this forum is brought to you by the nice fellows that own Icetool.

I will let xobe answer that. I tried los, didn't reallly like it, and am an avowed poertions guy.

But folks who have them absolutely swear by them. I have NEVER read someone regretting spending the money. But first, you have to decide if los is even for you. So spend the $1.50 until you KNOW you will be using some los. But then, from what everyone says, you WILL want an icetool.

I will let xobe take it from here.

Haha. Alright cool. Not sure how much use it'll get as my first order is all portions. Maybe I'll break some open...

I just started Los recently and am enjoying it. I've had to make some fake ice tools with plastic syringes from the medicine droppers from Walgreens. I used the prismasters but he pris they made felt weird. I prefer the cylinder shape.

I look at the spending on the Ice Tool that same way I spent on a decent Zippo when I smoked. There is something about having a nice piece of stainless steel for packing the pris.

Can't say they're my favorite but I'm on my second General today and it's starting to grow on me.

I'm still up for the swap though, t-made

Very true. I always used my copper Zippo when I smoked and I loved it. Still do.
