I used Zippos too, but I love the Prismaster (Bic). One reason I used a Zippo was because it was classier than a Bic, and it also had more self-expression. But one thing that's different with snus is that either way, if there are people watching, you're going to look stupid lifting your upper lip with one hand while inserting some sort of instrument into it. Nobody's going to know the difference, except you. And since BuySnus sends me a new Prismaster for free with every decent order, then I'm all set. I used to enjoy hand-baking, but it's quicker and cleaner with a tool.

I use my icetools (plural) all the time. Occasionally I hand bake or go commando, but that is very rare.

The icetool is just super easy, fast, makes the perfect pris size/shape dependent on what I'm in the mood for.

Basically, a prismaster will get the job done, but it's a crusty piece of crap. The icetool is classy and stylish. Think of it in terms of lighting a smoke with a $.99 bic disposable vs. a nicely engraved Zippo.

Take a look here to see all three sizes + los box:

Yeah the plastic syringes work. I got the 5ml medicine doser you can get for free then cut the end off. The pris was a little large so I went back and bought a syringe for $.25 that I think was a 3ml. I told them I was dosing a pet and they could keep the needle.

With both I cut the end off and with the 3ml I put tape up around the top to prevent the plunger from going all the way through. After using them for a week I decided I wanted the 3 ml Stainless Steel Black Ice Tool with the General logo that GetSnus offers. I ordered a few extra cans to get the amount above $50 and got free shipping.

While the plastic syringes work fine I wanted my (zippo) Ice Tool.

ive actually thought about doing that...does it work well
It's a famous old trick. haven't heard of anyone doing it in a long time, but folks talked about doing that when i first came to Snuson, long, long time ago.

The syringe trick works great. Bettrer than a prismaster imho.

I just don't like the shape of a prismaster pris.

I haven't tried any los yet but was gonna order a can to try next time. My question is: Does anyone have the specs or measurements on an Icetool or a 3ml syringe. I'm a machinist and could probably fabricate a los snus pris maker easily and throw my own design on it.

Go to the pharmacy and buy a 3ml syringe (the needle-less kind is available without a script).

It shouldn't cost more than maybe 20-30 cents.

You'll be able to get your specs straight off that.

I am waiting to here this guys reactions.

I dont like the taste of most sweedish snus that I have tried so far, but the camel ones left me feeling kind of strung out.

Thanks Xobeloot. I'll try that out when I get a chance. What about the overall length of the Icetool. It looks huge on the website but when I see pic of it on here it looks only slightly longer than a tin of snus. When I get around to making one I'll post some pics.
