I have a big pris of OR Cranberry Loose in as I type this. OR Cranberry Loose is one of my two favorite snuses. It has a cranberry flavor that is more mild than a lot of the OR flavors, allowing you to taste the tobacco and cranberry simultaneously.

I have also used the portions, but in my opinion they lack the flavor of the loose. I dislike most portions overall.

The cranberry loose takes some getting used to, but I started to pick up on the different levels of flavoring after my second pris.

You should probably try the Skruf is well. That way you can decide what you like. But I would recommend trying a can of the loose sometime if cranberry is your thing. Worst case scenario, you're only out a couple of bucks. Best case scenario, you might find a new staple.

I just checked my OR cran and the color is a dark brown (really dark). Yours is very light, did the flash of your camera turn it light?

No, the offroad portion tobacco has a very light redish-orange color to it. Nothing wrong with it though. Just the variety of tobacco they use for portions is all.

Learned something new today as I had no idea that the contents of portions for the same brand could be different from the loose. No wonder, for example, general loose never tasted the same as general regular portion or white portions!!!....Thanks Xobeloot

            Mmmm, I love OR Cranberry....

The los is my absolute favorite as far as Offroad goes, and the portions, while not the best around, have more of a "real" cranberry taste than Skruf Tranbar. Either one are on almost every order I make.

Also, an important thing to note is that Getsnus either does not receive or removes the expiration dates and ingredient lists from their cans. Then they put the Getsnus sticker on it. However, not to worry; V2 products usually have several months of life in them once you receive them. I have some loose right now that's good in the fridge until May.

When I order V2 products from Buysnus, I always get the ingredients list and exp. date. It's a big sticker that covers the bottom of the can.

That's what I like about their los: it always holds up even after the expiration date has well passed. I had a tin of OR Wintergreen (that was opened even) sit for 3 months after the date, and it still baked better than a fresh tin of Gotlands or G. Rape. The taste was a little muted, but I was impressed nonetheless.

I had a similar bad experience with OR Cranberry Portions. It wasn't so much the tobacco that got to me, since the flavor and the buzz were perfectly fine. It was the increasingly bitter taste that developed the longer I kept it in. With General/Catch, Jakobsson, Camel, and other portions, I can keep them in for easily over a half hour without much issue other than a slight saltiness, which I don't mind at all. The OR Cran Portion, on the other hand, starts to leech out a cardboard flavor that makes me want to hurl after 20 minutes. I went through the OR Cran Portion tin that I ordered in 1/2 the time or less than any other I've tried, since I couldn't handle keeping it in at all. The buzz wasn't the problem, but the flavor became incredibly bad. I suspect it might be more due to the paper used for the portion than the quality of the tobacco though, b/c I don't really think you get much of a cardboard flavor from tobacco...
