    Skruf (strong) cranberry or tranbar.

My bro's order of a log of Skruf strong Tranbar arrived (+ Ettan can and Onyx can).
I had to write about it because, I LOVE IT!
Stonger tobacco and nicotine than, say Rape No2, simular fruit flavour strength, but it last's a bit longer.Just what the doctor ordered.
 Does taste like cranberries and is very satisfying indeed.
I intend getting Skruf's other offerings.
I will let everyone know what my bro and I think of Ettan and Onyx.

Is it really Skruf Cranberry or maybe Offroad Strong Cranberry? I don't know a 'strong' variant of Skruf Cranberry.

BTW, I love both. Both are quite different types of snus, also with very different flavors, but both very pleasant. The Skruf Cranberry also has a nice nicotine hit IMHO, though it is not named 'strong'.

    Cheers!

Sorry, I read higher grade of nicotine in buysnus's description and got it garbled in my brain ops:

I prefer the skruf tranbar over the rape no2. I just love skruf!

Buysnus.com sent me a can of Offroad (Strong) Cranberry portions as my surprise bonus can of snus after they made an error with my order. I wasn't sure what to think at first, but I really like this snus! It has a nice cranberry flavor, but it isn't overpowering in an American dip way. I will have to try out other Offroad varieties!

silverbox: I recently got some Onyx. I think it's pretty similar to General loose, but with something different I can't put my finger on. I really like it. If you got Ettan portions, be advised that it's a bit different from the loose variant. I like the loose much better - among my favorites at this point.

Hi T, My brother and I have made a pact, Not to open the Onyx or Ettan without the presence of the other brother!! 8)
Does the Ettan lossnus have a tobacco/toffee type taste that comes out after the "top" flavour of other flavoured snuses "runs out"?
I have noticed this with everything, bar, granit. Even General has thing lovely little finish!
            Happy Easter M

No, unfortunately not. It first has a salty kind of peat-flavor and develops the natural tobacco taste maybe a little earlier than other brands, but even with the Ettan you will have to wait for a while, until the pure tobacco taste is clearly noticeable.

BTW, I haven't found a snus yet, that really has only pure tobacco taste. Maybe an absolute pure tobacco taste wouldn't be very tasty and therefore all snus brands have more or less added flavor :?:

              Happy Easter.

Shame, if some fine maker could get that creamy tobacco flavour to show itself straight after the oily nicotine dissapates(?spelling?) they would be on to a winner.
