Review of Camel Mellow

I finally got around to buying a can of Camel Mellow at a local gas station. I was not expecting it to be even tolerable, but I was pleasantly surprised. The tobacco smells faintly of dried fruit and artificial syrup; compared to the older variants of Camel snus, the odor is improved substantially. Camel Mellow tastes like....... nothing. There is a subtle flavor of fruit, but its very hard to pick up. As well, the tobacco is dry and takes a very long time for the trace amounts of flavor to emerge. I will not buy this product again because its simply too bland. The price is a complete ripoff, since you only get 9 grams of tobacco per can.

On the bright side, Camel Mellow is worlds better than the Spice and Original flavors. Camel Mellow is a step in the right direction, but for those used to Swedish snus, it does not even compare.

the camel snus display has been set up in the gas station next to where i'm staying for 2 weeks now. no snus though. i will try it when it comes out.

Funny, came to snus via Camel, might have to pick up a tin just to see what they have been up to.
Seriously hope they upped the nicotine, what I remember the most is that it always took 2 portions to satisfy.

I'm used to General Ekstra Sterk (15mg nicotine), so Camel Mellow isn't cutting it. In fact, I'm going to pop in a portion of GES when I'm done with my current Camel Mellow. I have heard that the nationally launched Camel snus has 8mg of nicotine per pouch.

thanks for the offer. i'm not in a rush to try it. just keep seeing the empty display every day. i am very excited about the g.e.s. lös. i would love to get my hands on some of that.

LOVE the taste, my favorite...but as far as nic goes, it is pretty weak. and there is only 15 in a tin...but i still buy a tin here and there. i absolutely love the taste of mellow.

I'm tired of going into every 7-11 and seeing that empty fridge with the "coming soon" sticker on it. :x None of the employees seem to know anything about it other than the fact that they were told to put up the display, and that they would get it when they get it.

try a smoke shop, thats the first place that had it in stock in kalispell, even though everyones displays were up.
