    Beginner and need help!

Ok, i have tried cigaretters and decided i didnt like them, i just couldent inhale without coughing. So, i have decided to start using Snus. Living in the UK it is pretty tricky getting your hands on the stuff but before that could you please tell me what brand you would recommend for a beginner such as me.

I was considering buying the following 4:

    Phantom
    Skruf original
    General
    Knox

(probably all as portions, but may try a loose)

what do you think of these, good or bad choices?

Due to the fact i didnt like smoking im still going to do this regardless of anybody telling me not to. I mean after seeing that Sweden has the healthiest lungs in Europe, cant be too bad. And im fairly sure its not as bad as Dipping tobacco like Grizzly or Kodiak.

So please give me some advice on where to start and how to go about it.

    Much Appreciated

Worry not Connor, I will not try to dissuade you from using snus. All excellent choices IMO and a good representation of what snus is about. I'd maybe consider adding Ettan to the list though. Oh, and welcome to the forum, originally from the UK myself so it's always nice to see someone from the isles discovering snus. Looking forward to reading your impressions.

Personally, I love General loose. I've been using it almost exclusively for about a year (say, 8-9 cans of General to 1 can of anything else) and the loose is absolutely delicious. The portions are quite salty whereas the loose is citrusy and peppery. Knox is pretty good as well, it tastes like an inexpensive version of General. I never personally liked phantom or skruf, but lots of people do, so I'd say they're worth a try. Good luck to you!

Honestly, since you are completely new to nicotine, Might I suggest that you lean towards some mini portions to start with?

I will not try to dissuade you from doing this as you wish, but I will say that you may want to ease into it.

Snus works so well to get people off of cigs because it has such an effective delivery of nicotine. If you have already made up your mind to start using it, you will have plenty of time to build up a nicotine tolerance like the rest of us.

Using mini's to start will get you used to it and give you a gradual introduction to the drug. Once you find yourself using 2+ minis to get your "fix" then graduate to the next level of addiction... Original portions.

Being unaccustomed to nicotine you may get lightheartedness, nausea, rapid heart rate, dizziness, insomnia, etc. Maybe some minis isn't a bad idea.

Obviously you have no long term damage from smoke inhalation...
