I must be weird, because I get much more flavor from the portions than the Los (though I prefer Los)...the Los just kind of sits there and runs very little, whereas the portions just flow juice. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

Nah, I don't think you're doing it wrong. I think how tightly you form the pris is a factor in how much the juice runs. I had a pris in earlier that was pretty tightly packed, and it didn't run nearly as much as the others before it. It held longer, but didn't run as much. Kind of a trade off I think.

Even though I get more flavor from the portions, I like the Los better, it just feels better. I'm still going to always have some portions on hand for work and for stealth snusing, but when I'm at home, in the truck or outside, I like the Los. I do spit some though and it doesn't mess up the pris any...you just have to spit between your top teeth and your toungue, if you try for a traditional spit you move your upper lip and it loosens...that's been my expereince anyway.

On another note, I ordered the Ettan because it was a traditional tobacco flavor, but I have found that I prefer the more spicey and salty snus better, which I never thought would be the case when I first tried real swedish snus, coming off of Triumph, now I love the spice and salt! The Ettan just seems like a bland tobacco flavor, which some folks like.

You may be able to find a specialty chew somewhere that meets your requirements. Years ago I had an Amish made loose leaf chew that had much less sugar than the big commercial brands. I can't remember the name, and I have no idea if it's made anymore, but that might be an avenue to explore.
