I am standing with you Sagedil. I used only loose tobacco when I dipped, but I have yet to find a los snus that will work for me. The portions are so much more convenient in an anti-tobacco workplace and, against all reason, the portions seem to have more flavor than the los. I keep trying los because I would love to find something I can take huge pinch of and stuff in my lower lip, but thus far portion snus is the only snus for me.

I'm completely with sage as far as the emotional attachment. I started with dip, and it had it's own charm similar to loose snus.

My first curiosity order had a mix of loose and portions, and the portions just make me feel very at ease. Everytime I look in the can, I imagine the quantified enjoyment in each and every one. loose, though I don't have much trouble dipping it(exactly because of that, I just throw it in my bottom lip), still seems ominous and unfriendly. Portions look like they can't wait to play

ok, that spun out of control but you get it.

deebocools, I know exactly what you mean, and it pleases me that others feel similar to me.

Still gonna give los a try, as I probably always will once a year. You never know.

Roo: You seem alright yourself. Didn't realize my interests would lead to a crazy time on Wikipedia, but I'll take that as a compliment. Most importantly, I'm glad that I'm not the only battleworn soldier of the Loosesnus Legion representing snus in Seattle.

merc: it was the Thelema that got me curious. Although an athiest, I have studied lots of Buddhism and read many a sutra, so I was glad to see my fellow Seattleite sharing some interests beyond snus. And I am fascinated with freemasonry, so one thing led to another, and it turned into a solid Wikipedia session... Cheers
