Offroad Apple

At first glance, i thought that offroad apple was going to be a delicious treat. Little did i know what i was in for. As soon as I opened the tin it was like i instantly ingested a gallon of ipecac. I gagged and realized how much apples and tobacco don't go together. I decided to give it a shot anyway and grabbed the oddly square shaped pouch and put it in. The first thing I notice is the lack of flavor. It didn't kick in for a while which was a good thing because as soon as it did, I realized what a mistake it was. I really didn't enjoy this flavor but i do have a tin of Offroad coffee/vanilla. So im hoping this will save my view of the offroad line!

On the bright side I also got a tin of Nick and Johnny which is delicious!

But then again, I like a snus with some run to it.

As far as Offroad Apple? It was of the first snuses I tried and if I were to have based my impressions on that, I would still be smoking. It is that bad IMO.

Coffee/Vanilla on the other hand, not too shabby!

I've been very vocal about my hate for offroad apple. To me it smells like tootsie rolls(one candy I can't stand) and tastes nothing like apple. If it didn't say apple and someone asked me to guess the flavor I'd say sour tobacco.

It was one of the first snuses I got, and at some point that's all I had before my next order. I got through 2/3 of the tin somehow and ended up throwing it out and buying some american dip, which for all its faults is far superior to that abomination

Funny opening post. The only thing that could top it would be something like:

"Ugh, the apple and coffee/vanilla were awful, but at least I have a can of Elyxir Energy, which I'm sure will save this unlucky streak."

I agree on OR Apple, it's one of only 2 snus's I couldn't finish (other being Julesnus), and it currently resides in my freezer... where it will probably stay until i throw it away

skoal apple was actually my last favorite before signing over my soul to snus. You could taste both apple and tobacco, somehow they got it right. hopefully some snus could do the same, cause honestly the flavors can go together. But perhaps only fermented tobacco works

I actually dont mind the OR Apple. I think it kind of tastes like tea with a slight fresh apple taste. It smells kind of like that too after being open for a day or so. It smelled terrible when I first opened it though. I see a lot of people that don't like it but I think it isn't bad, it isn't ever going to be my go to snus but I don't mind it every once in a while. Maybe you should give it another shot after you've been snusing for a while. You might end up liking it.
