Do the original portions taste the same as the stark?

I recently got an order from northerner with a few stark varieties. I absolutely loved every one of them and was wondering if the originals taste the same because sometimes I don't need all that nic. I have the following:
General Onyx= I absolutely love these and will order a roll. The portion is perfect so I will stick with these over the original. If the general sterk white tastes and feels the same I would go with the cheaper sterk.

Skruf stark white= These are absolutely fantastic and I can see using skruf regularly. If the original white tastes the same I would order a roll of original over the stark.

Roda claq qui= Loved these too. If the roda white tastes the same I would go with a roll of roda instead.

I plan on ordering 3 rolls at least, one of each. I want to stock up so I don't keep placing small orders and so I have plenty on hand. Any other suggestions on cheaper or better kinds is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Really? I was hoping that they had a similar taste. What about the onyx and general sterk white? Are the stark varieties better or the other way around?

They're similar alright. The sterks have a twang to them the regulars don't though.

From my experience Claq Qui is stronger in flavor and salt than Roda white.

Onyx has more spices and aromas then General Sterk. Onyx is really different than the General Sterk actually. General Sterk is on the muted side flavor wise.

I prefer the tingle and the burn of sterk portions. Being a smoker I also look for instant gratification. At least faster gratification.

If you want a longer lasting flavor without the o.d. of nicotine get a regular portion though.

Hard to say whether regular or sterk is better.

Are you stocking up? What's the reason for three rolls at once?

Try a can or two of the regulars first and decide from there what you want from your snus.

I want to clarify a bit.

The sterks last as long as regulars flavor wise. I was implying that I spit out sterk portions after I get my fix.

On the other hand I will relish a regular portion for a much longer time.

Sterks have a caustic, basic, sort of characteristic that I don't enjoy too much after the first 20 minutes or so. I'm sure it's by design to aid in nicotine delivery..

The Thunder portions though are a longer smoother ride. Every brand's different.

Thanks for the help. I guess the reason for 3 rolls at once is just to limit the amount of orders I place and to stock up on what I like so I have it on hand when I want it. Maybe I'm going overboard though. I guess I could just get a few cans of the regulars to ensure I don't prefer them. I do love the onyx though so I will probably throw a roll of that in there. Still open to other suggestions though so any are welcome.

Ok because of bakerbarber's help I decided to rearange my order a little so I can try the reqular strength portions. Here is what I have so far:
general onyx-1 roll
roda white- 1 tin
skruf white- 1 tin
I am going to order from getsnus this time and would like to add a couple more single tins to bring the order to $50 so i get free shipping. Any suggeestions for the other 2 cans would be appreciated.

Sterk and (especially) Ekstra Sterk snus have a salty, ammonia-like flavor and odor. In order to increase the delivery and potency of nicotine, sterk snus' have a higher level of acidity compared to regular strength varieties. In my opinion, Sterk snus should only be used for the first few months after smoking, since they can cause headaches when your body gets used to the nicotine delivery of snus.

General Sterk is my least favorite from the brand. The signature hint of lime is non-existent and replaced with an overwhelming strength of pepper. I prefer the flavor of General Ekstra Sterk by far.

I agree with BB that the sterks/starks do not generally taste like the original. One exception is Skruf original (I haven't tried the white). Skruf Stark and Skruf original are pretty similar...

I wouldn't get a roll of anything I have not used three cans of minimum. Tastes change, especially early on IMO. I like Onyx though.
