I was a HUGE fan of mocca anise and they discontinued it. Any snus that is portion with an anise flavor? This is IMPORTANT It cant taste like licorice. Shit makes me sick. Same with spearmint.

Also, www.swedish-snus.com has a great feature where they list a small description of the snus flavor. I know there are several listed there that say "anise" in the flavor.

Try the Gotland's Anise. I used it in loose for a while and really enjoyed it. It has an herbalesque anise flavor, not licorice imo.

I must also highly recommend the Gotlands Gray. It is by far the best anise snus I've tried. I thought I liked Catch Licorice until I tried the Gotlands. It is very herbal and natural tasting and the balance of flavors is perfect. I've only tried the loose, but I'd imagine the portions to be good too. I've had the Yellow portions and they're great.

I'm pretty sure the company that makes Mocca Snus is still in business (Fiedler & Lundgren). You can still order Mocca Anise Mini White Portions as well.

I was informed that they discontinued mocca mandarin and i assumed the entire company was going under. Im happy that thats not the case.

F&L's snus division was bought by BAT. Brands come and go quickly. Don't be surprised if the anis is one day not available. If you really like it, I suggest buying rolls, and keep a close eye on the snus sites for reports of a discontinuation. I'd write to Buysnus and ask them to keep you in mind if they hear anything about product changes. They may be able to give you advance notice, and a chance to stock up if F&L quits making anis snus.
