Anyone else get cans that are pretty close to their experiations.

Personally it doesnt bother me. Iv ebeen using Gotlands Gul Los thats 2 months past best before date and its fine.

Has this copany been around for awhile or what.

Just got my order and its best before the 29th of this month.

Most Snus i get has at least 3-4 months before its best before date... anyone else experience this?

EDIT: My Los is best before March 23 09 and the Portions are best before August 9 2009... big difference there.

I got two Los with exp March 26, 09 - but they were added free as samples, so I do not complain. The cans I paid for (Oden´s Classic 8mg) are good until August or something like that.

BUT: Is the Oden´s Classic Kanel really 8 mg? I cannot make a pris small enough to be comfortable. I have to spit them out more or less at the 15 minute mark, otherwise I start sweating immensely and being generally very uncomfortable. Not OD, but definitely unpleasant. I liked to keep portions all the time, exchanging them every 1,5-2 hours, but keeping the taste etc. all the time, which seems to be impossible with this one.

Do you think the problem is I just started with Los and should bake them more properly, or is the Kanel stronger? Last time I measured the pinch it was about 0,5 ml, so it should be weaker than the smallest mini portion.

Depends on how tight to bake your pris.

If its a loose pack then the nic will hit faster and youll end up having to get rid of it sooner than if you made a tight pris or an icetool/prismaster pris.

I use the pinch and place whenever im fishing or hunting and will keep it in for 20-45 mins but when i use my icetool i can keep it in an hour + .

Im very sensitive to too much nicotine because of my anxiety and Odens Kanel hasnt really givin me the problems that Sterk Brands did.

I would check and see if you are baking your pris tight enough and even if you are only using .5 grams at a time and its giving you the nic fix you need consider urself lucky. I have to use my icetool on the 3 1/2 notch line.

Well, thank you. I tried to use my fingers instead of the syringe tool (originally for kids medication, we have quite a few kids and so quite a few kits like this :lol: ) and pressed it really tight - and it was just right. Still a very tiny pris, but then, the can will last for a week or so... I have 7... ops: No trying other stuff for some time.

Just to add something which might be useful, the taste of Oden´s Kanel is sort of sweetish, not really sweet, but completely lacking salt. Interesting change after General and especially Ettan, which was really salty to my taste buds. The vanilla is very subtle. When it starts running, it also burns a lot.

It also reeks of stale urine (unlike other ones I have that had "sharp" penetrating smell, this is sort of dull and really piss-like) very strongly, which according to what I read in this Forum should mean the snus is fresh. So maybe they just used older labels or something.
