    Nick and Johnny East

I am new to the forum and have enjoyed reading a bunch of the posts.

I have been using Snus for about two years now and for the past year started purchasing Swedish Snus. This stuff is great. I love the variety.

I just got a shipment in and got a couple cans of Nick and Johnny East white portions. I'm lovin' it. This is more my style. I was wondering if there is anything else out there like it. I have been finding new Snus by trial and error. Some I like, some are just too much. My bent is towads the lighter stuff like N&J.

P.S. I enjoyed the discusion about Snus and Soda. Great and delicious ideas.

    Welcome to Snuson!

N&J East is pretty unique. I honestly couldn't suggest anything else that will be quite like it.

      Welcome to the forums batchboy!!

Like Xobeloot said, N&J East is pretty unique. Many people don't like it, but I think it's pretty tasty, although the flavor's short lived.

You could try the Göteborgs varieties. They're kind of herbal, and unique. Tre Ankere's pretty good too. That one's subtle, with earthy herbal notes.

I agree about the Gote's, they're both good in their own ways.

        I also enjoys N&J East

on the other hand, I was really disappointed in Tre Ankre. It just doesn't do anything for me.

Gotlands Green is also a very unique flavor.

I highly recommend new users to try it.

Its a portion and the flavor is nice.

Some say it tastes like apples... i only got a nice bitter undescribable fruit flavor id never tasted anywhere else.

Definately a one of a kind also, imo.

I agree with Captain Caveman, N&J East is horrible.

I agree with the Tre Ankare recommendation. I don't use it very often (I'm not a big fan of white portions), but I think it's quite tasty. I wish it came in loose or original portion. Whites rasp my gums.

Try NJ East with coffee. The cardamom reminds me of those shots of Turkish coffee at middle-eastern restaurants (although nowhere near as strong).

I don't mind it, but I definitely don't think it's worth the premium price everybody charges for it. It's a very occasional snus for me, at best.

Extra points for the tin, though...
