Mocca Anis - a really pleasant surprise!

I had a can of this unopened in my fridge, and thought 'well, why not open it and see what it's like'. I wasn't expecting much, but was initially very pleased by the aroma of the snus, a very strong smell of anis. I'm about 40 minutes into my first portion, and the taste is really sweet, but a lot subtler than LD Black (granted, the latter is liquorice, but there is also anis there). Being a white portion, it takes a while for the flavour to present itself, but when it does - if you like anis - you might think you were drinking pernod. . No hint of artificiality, either.

Downside: The can is rounded and quite girly

Gotlandssnus Anis has a very strong and pure anis flavor too. I'm not a fan of anis, but more power to you.

Mocca's good, but too small. I like Gotland Grå for my anis fix.

M by Mocca Anis were my all time favorites for a while. I made the mistake of having nothing but that and burned out on it, though I think some down time from it would probably help. I found Gotland Grå to be very good, too, but Gotland tended to get bitter after a while, which seems to be their what they're known for. Either one is exceptionally good.

            Fielder & Lundgren
            by Guest
Headquartered in Malmö, Sweden, Fielder & Lundgren is probably the oldest snus manufacturing name in Sweden. Started as a company in 1835, F & L's history has been full of name changes but one thing that has stayed consistent thru out it's 175 year existence, is it's commitment to producing quality Swedish snus.

Even though the company was started in 1835, it was Samuel Fielder who applied for permission to manufacture snus in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1785. Today, Fielder & Lundgren produces
