Would there be a need for Snus Dictionary? And should we make one

Ok I'll start

snus - If you don't know what this is your probably in the wrong place
loose (lös) - Loose snus (ground tobacco) that is rolled in to a prilla by hand or with a tool
portion - Snus in a small package somewhat like a teabag. Generally weaker then loose but easier to use on the run and more socially acceptable
pris/prilla/prell - A pinch of loose snus rolled into a tight block for placement under the lip
prismaster - Cheapest portioning tool for loose snus. Make of plastic and creates a tight rectangular block.
icetool - High end portioner made of steel or aluminium. Consists of two pieces. The first is a cylinder the snus is packed into and the second is pressed into the cylinder to create a very tight prilla
mud slide - Slang term for when a loose prilla disintegrates in the mouth

Good idea, but don't forget:


Burning (sensation) - describing the stingy/burning feeling (mostly new) snus'ers get from keeping either loose or portion packed snus under their lip. Love it or hate it - usually it goes away after a couple of weeks (and is missed by many, while others are more than happy to get rid of the facial spasms it may cause).

Dream Snus - describing the use of snus while sleeping, which may or may not cause weird and slightly surrealistic dreams. Avoid loose snus in this case - unless you want to wake up to a different kind of brown mess.
The origin of this kind of dream enhancing is not known. Very little have been documented and little to none scientific research have been done in this area of tobacco use. Lately a young Canadian man (residing in GB) experimented with Dream Snus. The results was apparently amazing.

I have a comment about the Dream Snus. Well last night i fell alseep with a Snus in. Landstroms Snus to be correct. Well without snus i do not remember my dreams hardly at all and nothing too interesting seems to happen i the ones i happen to remember. Well last night while i had that Snus in i had one of the craziest dreams i have had in a long time and i pretty much remember the most of it, which is also odd. I am now a believer in the Dream Snus.

strong - snus that is either high in nicotine content or effective in its delivery. also could refer to flavor.

stark - Swedish for "strong"

maxi - A large version of portion snus. Can emulate strong snus and also less discreet. Few brands available.

white portion - a portion that is in a white bag and has more noticeable burn than portions that are not.

mini portion - a small version of portion snus. More discreet but typically not as strong as regular portions.

roll - a plastic wrapped stack of 10 cans of snus.

kick - sensation of nicotine effect.

I know a few people have had problems with burning white portions but I don't think that is their intended effect They are meant to reduce the snus running whilst in your mouth.

what do you mean by the snus running?
I had no idea the purpose of white portion was anything but just a white bag.

The white portions are supposed to reduce (excuse me for the non-technical term) "tobacco juice"
