First V2 test review - Sweet Clove

So i just got my test snus from V2, thank you Patrick!!

I got a total of 8 cans, each different. My intention each night is to do an initial review upon first tasting, then do a follow-up after I have had 5 of them. I will then put those away for 8 days, and then come back around and give my 2nd impressions. Will then wait about a week, and give my thrid and final impressions.

Since, like many teenagers, i ahd my fair share of clove digarettes, i just had to try he Sweet Clove first.

Smell - smells just like cloves. No chemical smell at all, it just smells much as you would expect.

Looks - the portions are almost orange tinted, and very moist.

Flavor - the first reaction is wow, this is sweet. one of the sweetest snuses i have had. But not too sweet, and in no way fake sweet tasting, but definitely on the sweet side. Not quite as bad as Triumph or the new general Mini Mint. and a definite taste of cloves with just a bit of saltiness.

I have had it in for about 10 minutes now, the taste is still good, but the sweetness has definitely abated. I am left with a distinct taste of cloves in my mouth, quite pleasant really. the flavor definitely mutes down after a short bit, and I bet I can keep this one in happily for some time. i will report more on that later in my follow-up review

But first impressions, i like it very much. it tastes utterly unlike anything I have ever had before. would i use it all the time, i expect not. But I have grown away from flavored snus. But, and again, this is brand new so far, already i could see myself having this once or twice a month. it really is so different, it is a nice change of pace. This is definitely one I would love to see hit the market.

And nothing like Offroad, and nothing really like Thunder, so a 3rd way for V2??

Patrick...thank you. i hope you finad all my reviews helpful

I'm now excited to try this or something like it. A clove cigarette was the first and last cigarette I smoked. I loved it so much, and wanted another one in 30 minutes so badly, that I sensed danger and gave away the rest of the pack.

Very interesting Sage. I love Clove, and it's hard to find things of that flavor in America. Every so often they'll have a special release of Clove, BlackJack, and Teaberry gum. I always buy all 3, and the Clove and BlackJack are my favorites by far.

I am quite excited to try this one too. The reason I liked Camel Spice as much as I did was for it's heavy sweet clove flavor.

Clove.....very interesting; that's a flavor I wouldn't have thought of, but makes perfect sense. I was never a big fan of the smokes, but that's because they felt like they were collapsing my lungs when I smoked them. The taste however, was awesome.

I'd be totally down for it, but not in portions.....

That's it. It tastes a lot like the gum. I knew it seemed a familiar taste, but it has been so many years since I have had any, I didn't think of that. I have my 2nd one in, just put it in as I was clicking on the thread. Initial hit is really nice. I dumped my last one after 25 minutes But that is typical for me now for most flavored snus. I have less of a tolerance then I once did.

This is definitely a love it or hate it snus. The flavor, although it does soften with time, is VERY distinct. You like cloves, I think you would love it. You don't, you probably would not tolerate it

But not like Spice at all. this is a direct, pure taste of clove. Nothing else. Did you get yours today??

I got both the test snus, and my snuff from Toque today. So 8 more cans of snus, on top of the 16 I got the other day for selling my Carbon tin, plus the 21 I already had in my freezer and I am waiting for my order of 29 more cans from Northerner cause I thought I "didn't have enough.

Wow, I hadn't been paying attention. I'm gonna be back up to 74 cans in the freezer, plus I have 18 tins of snuff all on my desk. And 4 more coming from Northerner. I think me has a tobacco problem

So back to the clove snus. I have had # 2 in for at least an hour and a half, if not more. Still a slight flavor but incredibly mellow as it ages. I like that a lot. Especially if I have had a few 18 mg snus that day, at night, I am mostly just happy having something in my mouth. I am snuffing more so really, really don't need much nicotine from my snus. So I love keeping in a snus a long, long time. And this clove snus is really pleasant this past hour.

So after 2, I am even more pleased with it. May not make it to 5 tonight.

Are you sure we were supposed to review these in public? Patrick said to keep it quiet in the last email he sent to me. I assumed he would email questioneers for us to fill out, or something like that. Let me know if he said to review them publicly. Thanks

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Umm...Xobeloot specifically said I was supposed to review them here. So if I am wrong, blame him!!

Patrick never told me anything in his e-mails to me, so I asked someone wise and in the know.

                            Xobeloot?????

From reading the e-mail, The only thing I see him saying not to talk about is...

                              Well...

The first rule of snus club...

Anyways, I know he specifically mentioned not to talk about one thing he mentioned, but I dont thing there is a problem with discussing these other flavors.

I guess the best thing to do would be to hold off on additional reviews until we can verify w/ Patrick.
