First V2 test review - Sweet Clove

I fully expect that the Clove will make the cut. Although I am sure it won't be for everyone, I expect most will like it.

I learned my lesson re: special snus from manufacturers and retailers when I admitted I was given a can of the Carbon Fiber Onyx from Buysnus. People get mean and jealous, even if it's in good fun. Banana will be interesting......

And Pony. I think Patrick only picked me cause of who I am and how much I have contributed here. Since everything I have ever said has been public, haters need not apply. I trust *most* folks would say I have put my time and effort in here and deserve that opportunity.

Now I too got a carbon can from Buysnus but that was only cause they knew I was pissed at them and they were feeling guilty. Yeah, I kind of assume that my infamy though might still be partly why they did t, big reason why I recently traded it away to someone who really, really wanted it. I just didn't feel comfortable holding onto it when I knew there were others who really cared about having it more than me.

I'm no hater of the sagacious one, in fact you got me to try LD Black, and I haven't looked back. Plus your reviews are pretty damned comprehensive. Oh and your avatar is sick, particularly with the lös bindi on your forehead :lol: . Seriously though, people like sage add a real degree of depth and accessibility to the forum. Very welcoming. Just be careful with your comments about Elixyr Energy, and you'll be fine :lol: .

I do really hope this one is released. I was also big into smoking cloves back in the day. I just loved them, though agree with others that I felt like they were just tearing up my lungs, much worse than cigs.

I would love to be a tester, but I'm afraid it's better that I don't. My taste buds are just too retarded......I never seem to taste what I'm supposed to taste.

I agree jason. I would love to test as well but that is more because I want to try the new flavors. I'm not that good at picking up on the subtleties I don't think. I just either like it or I don't.

I just have to say, I am so excited to try the clove. A few weeks before I heard about this, I was looking through my spice rack and found some cloves, at which point I began thinking to myself: you know what kind of snus I would love? Clove snus!

Just a followup. About 20 minutes ago, I turned the light on so I could do a bit of snuff, realized the Retro I had in was about 2 hours so dumped it. Maybe my last snus of the night, maybe one more, but I really wanted an Oden's Cinnamon. Not necessarily the high nic hit, but just the taste. Then realized I had finished the can, so grabbed a Thunder. Not exactly what I had in mind but it will do I thought. Then I realized hat I really wanted. A clove. So I dumped my Thunder after about minutes, and put in a clove snus and OMG, it was just perfect. It is exactly what I wanted. Sweet, but a little bitter, the wonderful taste of clove.

I really had grown weary of flavored snus, other than my twice a month LD Black kick. But recently finally trying Oden's Cinnamon, and now trying Clove, I now have 2 new flavored snuses that I love. And if you have tried Odens, there is a bit of similarity. Not in sweetness, the V2 Clove is sweeter, but in the way that the level of spice just tastes right, and thee is a certain bitterness that just plays well with the taste of the spice.

This is one I would just love to see made permanent. Either that, or I am gonna buy a heck of a lot just to freeze
