ok, take a family sized tea bag, cut into thirds, make a pris with the prismaster, inset in the bottom of the tea bag, fold the sides over, then fold the top down and cut off excess. works great but is time consuming. next I will find out what makes the best pris from bakin

^ nice! Probably cheaper than buying portions as loose gets you twice as much snus.

Good call, ringdoc! I've heard coffee filter paper is the same material, but I haven't tried it -- you might want to give it a shot (or I might ).

Coffee filter paper is much heavier and less porous - it's the same basic material, but teabags are definitely it.

I did a visual comparison (not pictured) and take back my coffee filter paper idea.

            However, this link:

might be worth a look to save on wasting tea. TEELI Paper Fillable tea bags might be a closer (or exact) match to store-bought bags.

Ringdoc, your self-made portions really look great, more yummy than the original ones!

              Cheers!

Wow , I have to get around to trying this, the only problem is getting the parts of the tea bag you cut to stick together...hmm... :?

ya know, I folded the sides over, then folded it in half and cut the excess off and it did not open up, especally once it was soaked it stayed in a nice neat pouch

I just tried my first loose snus in probably a year... ordered a bunch of loose and decided to try the Diplomat first. This is a great tasting snus! Fairly coarse, packs a decent punch. Someone hit the nail on the head by saying it's like general only less lemon/citrus and more rounded flavor. Very good!

                        *pats self on back*

I was beginning to wonder whether my taste buds had become completely trashed from trying all these varieties.

Damned good stuff, enjoy the tin!

I was a little afraid to try the loose. I tried the portions and didn't like them very much. But damn! The loose is amazing! The description of a more subtle General is spot on. It is easily on of my top 3 loose choices.

                            Diplomat portions - new can...

                            I like it.
Just had a roll of portions delivered and they have changed the can. The body of the can is still brushed metal, but the lid is now in black plastic with an ashtray lid - quite cool actually...
