That's right, my Snus Loving Friends: Camel SNUS's insidious influence now extends to Denmark! Thunder Frosted! :shock:

I'm sure it tastes great; I haven't met a Thunder Snus yet I didn't love.... but Curse You, Susan Ivey! Curse You Camel Snus! :twisted:

I also haven't slept in almost 3 days but I've been chain-snusing Thunder Original Portion and General Ekstra Sterk since Friday..... :roll:

I'm not too worried about the name. However, take note on what it's called. V2 was careful to use "Frosted" as opposed to "Frost", because RJ Reynolds' slick attorneys would be quick to sue a small tobacco company for copyright infringement.

Susan Ivey (I believe) is a spokeswoman or the CEO for RJ Reynolds. Mr. UNZ would know better than me.

Thunder Frosted is currently sitting at my #1 snus choice. I actually think that the name similarity is a good thing. It will help many smokers who have found and enjoy Camel Frost easily find a true replacement that tastes 10000000000x better.

On a side note, I don't think that Camel would be able to do a damn thing even if it were named Frost instead of Frosted.

That would be like Skoal suing Pinkerton for both having "Straight" or "Natural" flavored dip.

Flavor names and types are not owned by any one company. Imagine Gotlands trying to trademark "Green" and "Yellow"!

I like the Frosted name because it will make it easier to introduce it to the american public that has already been inundated with Camel Frost which I think is a poor representation of snus at best. I would much rather have my friends try Frosted and remember that than think Camel Frost is an actual indication of the type of snus I put in my mouth. They could have called it Thunder Spearmint but it woudn't have had quite the same competitive edge with like it does with Frosted. I think it was meant to compete with Camel directly and hope it steals those customers that like Camel Frost away.
