Long Time lurker Saying Hello

Hey all, iv been lurking for about a year now and just wanted to say thanks for all the info on snus, links, reviews etc. I'v really enjoyed the forum!

Snus helped me quit cigs and my lungs are very happy, only smoke going in there now regularly is from the good herb! I do still enjoy the taste of smoking tobacco and such and indulge occasionally (mainly when drinking) but i dont really crave them and my lungs cant really handle them anymore.

id like to review some snuses as i'v tried almost all of them excluding the V2 line (i dont really care for flavored snus all that much) but im a pretty lazy fellow, maybe later if your interested.

however ill post a quick list of favorites and not so favorites

#1 snus = Gotlands Green

other favorites:

Skruf original and stark

Taboca (not marlboro)

Nick and Jonny original

Onyx

Ettan loose and original

Tre Ankare

Gotland yellow loose

Catch eucalyptus

i liked jackobsons classic and lucky strike original too


I absolutly hated skruf cranberry and mocca pomegranit (both tasted like nausating fake cherry flavor) i had to give them away they were so bad



so ya maybe ill post some detailed reviews and such later if you all want

Well I'm glad you finally spoke up rootsandleaves, took you long enough. I'd say welcome, but that doesn't sound quite right. :lol: :lol: :lol:

I have recently taken up smoking a hookah, nd now am craving even less the occasional cigarette. I have always liked the feeling of tobacco in my lungs (and other type as well as I have often posted) Smoking a hookah meets that need, and it is so smooth and tasty. Way, way better than that stinky cigarette. But again, I love snus cause I can have that stinky cigarette if that is really what I want. But haven't had any since I stared with the hookah.

One flavored snus I suggest you try. The new Cinnamon from Oden's. I have long ago lost my taste for flavored snus, but they hit this one just right, just the perfect balance

id try your recommendation sage, but i really cant stand cinnamon.

i used to be quite a hookah freak though, and still like it now and again. be sure to check out the hookah forums for some good info! If ya got any questions about that stuff id be happy to help. get a phunnel bowl w/ mod and a nammor hose if you dont have one already you will be glad you did!! but i might be a bit outdated, im sure they have some new crazy accessories.

For now, I am just limiting myself to smoking when I go out to the hookah bar. For one, getting out is good to me, and it is a place I seem to love reading, and I have so few good reading spots these days.


But more importantly, I have a bit of problem. See, I am obsessive about my passions. I have 75 snus cans in the freezer, about 8 others open. I have like 19 tins of snuff now, and keep buying new even though I already have enough probably to last me 6 months at least and I only started less than 2 months ago.. I start buying hookah stuff, I will be broke. Might save he economy, but still, one has to draw the line somewhere. :lol:

Good to have you on the forum, roots . Sounds like you have a good selection of faves there. If you like the gotlands grey, I would recommend Offroad Liquorice los and LD Black.
