    How long do you snus?

I've never tried loose snus.. I was introduced to snus via Camel as they sent me a free tin to try out and give them my comments.. those were heavily flavored (more than any Swedish I've tried since) and while I enjoyed them, I couldn't handle more than an hour of it before my gums were tired of all the fake flavorings.

However, with Swedish SNUS I've gone up to 5-6 hours straight on a single portion.. when it gets "juicy" and I wanna keep it, I'll just wick away a lot of moisture with a napkin or paper towel and put it back. I'm a big General fan and it's never turned "sour" in my mouth.

However.. sometimes if I have to eat I'll set the snus aside and after being in the open air or in the SNUS container lid for a while it just doesn't taste the same.. maybe the gross factor has something to do with it.

But yeah.. I seldom use more than 3-4 portions a day since they last so long! Man I don't miss smoking at all

lol 5-6 hours?! If you love the flavor so much then I get ya. I usually keep mine in for an hour. Some only keep theirs in for 10 min.

General does seem to retain it's good taste in the mouth for a lot longer than some other Snus I've tried. I guess it is a premium Snus though and as with most things you get what you've paid for.

Mostly around 2 hours, often up to 3 hours and sometimes up to 4 hours. I could use them for 5-6 hours, but I love to move the portions with my tongue, so they are simply used up earlier.

1 hour is okay, maybe even best, if you want a maximum nicotine-level, but 10 min. are a waste IMHO.

        Cheers!

I'm curious about the Camel. Where are these Camel snus cans available?
My problem with snus is ordering the stuff in the summer..and I'm just about out.
I'm afraid of blowing $60 to have it all go sour on the way over here.
Perhaps if snus was available in local convenient stores I'd be very happy.

Or you could order UPS Express next day delivery? It is a little expensive but would be worth it on a big order.

Yes it's worth the extra money to guarantee your Snus is good when it comes if you use loose or original portions (white potions aren't so sensitve as they're drier) I find Airmail delivery times vary too much and especially during the warmer months I don't think it's worth taking the risk.

                  I just made my first UPS order because;

                  a) I only have half a can left
                  b) It is really hot here at the moment
                  c) a friend paid for the order as a present

If all goes well I'll stick with it over the summer

                    (a) is a very good reason to order by UPS. There's no worse feeling than running out of Snus!
