    Thundered Labels

So I'm all giddy like a kid on his birthday 'cause I just received my new package from Northerner after lunch today. I use my pocketknife to open the bag being careful not to cut any seams or otherwise desecrate it in any way, shape or form.

As I begin to check the contents against the enclosed packing list, my heart suddenly starts to sink when it appears that instead of 3 cans of Thunder original loose, Northerner has erred and sent 3 cans of portion instead! Crap! Northerner has never screwed up one of my orders.

But wait, they don't have the storage lid on top. I flip one over and it has 45 g printed on the bottom label. It feels heavy and the contents inside don't shake. What the heck is going on?

For some reason the three cans of Thunder are labeled with a 'portionsnus' label and not 'lossnus'. Yes! All is good and I'm back to being giddy again.

Just wondering if anyone else has received any mislabeled Thunder like this?

Whew! I was down to my last tin of extra sterk portions. Here is the order:

    1 can Grovsnus, black portion
1 can Odens ES Kanel, loose
3 cans Thunder ES Original, loose
2 cans N&J original strong portion
2 cans Thunder ES Original, portion
2 cans Claq Qui Strong, portion

It appears you're a fan of strong snus! Does the Grov Sterk taste similar to regular Grov? I heard it has a lot of flavoring in it.

I came to snus from 20 years of dipping Copenhagen. I have to "feel" a pinch between my cheek and gums as well as enjoy the flavor.

In my opinion, Grov Strong doesn't taste anything like regular Grov. The strong is in a nice, soft black pouch and has a sweeter licorice taste to it. Being a fan of basic tobacco taste I was at first taken aback by its flavor, but then I started to enjoy it mainly just with black coffee in the mornings. It's not an all day everyday snus, but obviously I do enjoy a can from time to time and would recommend it as well worth a try.

Grov Svart lasts forever. While I wish it tasted more like the original, which is a big favorite of mine for the straight up salt and tobacco taste, I don't notice licorice or as much of the vanilla undertones people speak of. I'm surprised so many find it so offensive, I think it's a damn fine snus!

              Vanilla, yes that's it.

I said licorice above, but it isn't that it's vanilla. It completely slipped my mind when I posted the above description.

And yes, it is a good snus.

Vanilla, leather, licorice and a hint of vomit.
