Need Help/ Opinion

I’ve only been using snus for awhile and the brands I’ve tried so far have been Mocca Manderin which was really horrible and runny, did absolutely nothing for me, and Wise Citrus/Menthol. My only problem now is that I’ve started to find that the taste of menthol and citrus are way too overpowering and sickening at times. Now I’m stuck having to try new flavors/brands, but I want to stick with the “Dry white mini portion” snus, which is the only way I can get away with using it at work. So, my question to all of you is what brands should I try? I only use “Northerner.com” by the way. I’ll list all of the products and just give me some kind of feed back.

Dry White Mini Portion:

1) Metropol Licorice Root White Mini Portion

3) Wise Original “Want to try but don’t know if it will be just like the Citrus/Menthol” :?:

It is a shame you cannot use large white portions because some of the best come in that size (Rape No.2, Diplomat, Röda Lacket) Although from your list, I would give 'tre ankare' and 'general' a go. If you were to try non-white mini portions you could get the lovely 'skruf tranbar'.

Generally the best selection is for 'non-white large portions' so maybe you could get a couple of them to try when you weren't at work (ettan, romeo, skruf, n&j, gotland etc..)

some of the "large" portions are considerably thinner than others too - particularly non swedish-match brands like LD and Offroad. You probably wouldn't care for offroad as it's got a rather overpowering flavour, but perhaps LD or Diplomat would be worth a go.

Snus is always spitfree, so, as phish already mentioned, the 'original mini portions' will work just as good. If not, I'd recommend Lucky Strike, which has a classic taste, a bit lemony, but very subtle. I must admit, that I haven't tried the white miniportions yet, but I assume they have the same taste as the original portions.

Also, if you put the portion more to the side, not just on your front teeth, even the original portions are almost inconspicuous. So, just like phish and Zero did, I too recommend to try some of these.

speaking of which i had a mishap

i filled up a beer bottle of spit a few days ago...i was too lazy to go empty and throw it away so my stupid ass set it on the other side of my computer. fiddling with my computer a couple days later and knocked it over, forgot it was there...spilled over and had the most god-awful, horrifying smell i could imagine. i had a hard time not gagging every 5 seconds while i cleaned it up. my eyes were watering.
i had to stuff paper towel up my nostrils it was that bad. and the stench just lingers in your nasal passages for a good while after it's so pungent. or maybe it's just so unbelievably bad it scars your brain into thinking you're still smelling it when you're not.

i had the same thing happen a couple years ago with regular dip spit and that's pretty horrible too...but the snus spit....holy hell. knocks it out of the park!
i guess that's the tradeoff of snus...not all of those preservatives makes for a hellish fermentation!

Oh well, I swallowed the snus-spit from the beginning. The first time, I had some kind of an unsure feeling, because I though "is it really right to swallow the juice or should I better spit instead?". So, this left some kind of a 'nervous' feeling in my stomach, but never strong enough, to be a problem.

The second day, I just thought: "Well, I had no problem yesterday, why should I have today?" So I just swallowed the snus-spit without further thinking and without any problems from the second day on.

I use some kind of old-fashioned, unflavored german chewing-tobacco sometimes (well exactly, I think, I will not buy it again, but still have some left, that I wouldn't want to throw in the garbage though, because it tastes good, overall) and though it never made me vomit, I really had a bad feeling in the stomach, when I swallowed it, so now, I spit, when I use it, maybe only once in half an hour, but yes, I feel with everyone, who has a problem to swallow snus-spit, but would recommend to just try. Unless you have a very, very sensitive stomach, the snus-spit just shouldn't be a problem.
