    maxi vs. sterk?

I think I have this right, but I know someone here has thought more about it then me.

general produces a maxi portion with 14mg per large pouch and an extra strong portion, at 15mg per normally sized pouch.

is there a difference in effect? Is the maxi portion, due to larger surface area, able to deliver more nicotine at a time, whereas the strong normal portions deliver more nicotine slowly?

or the other way around? or is it just that the flavor in the maxi portions lasts a long while? or is the maxi-portions just a strange throwback to a time before strong nicotine brands?

    ???????

I'd say the kick is about the same. General Maxi was uber juicy, and gave me the hiccups...

I haven't tried General Maxi yet. However, I'll throw in a can with my next order. The Maxi brands were made for people that wanted more nicotine at once before Strong snus was made. I'm sure the nicotine uptake is the same compared to General Ekstra Sterk. As well, the flavor is probably smoother than General Ekstra Sterk, since the tobacco is the same used in General Original Portions.

        Maxi

I'm a huge fan of Granit Maxi Portion and I know that it seems to kick harder than a stark/sterk of equal nicotine(12 mg.), due to covering more gum space. However, now you have "Extra Stark/Sterk" and that really balances the scale. I would say that in my opinion, Granit Maxi has a hit at only 12 mg. that is very similar to Thunder at 16 mg. Granit extends more long-ways than General, with General taking more up-and-down real estate. In General's case that is really bad 'cuz it could try to lay on some people's upper teeth and it's already too juicy. Both are fat but I like that. I just love how a Maxi portion feels in my upper lip.

I think extra sterk hits harder than the Maxi. I prefer the taste of extra sterk too, but both are good.
