Offroad.. I finally placed the aroma

So, like many here, I have never really cared for Offroad Original. Recently got a tin of it in a los sampler so I decided to save it for last.

Opened up the can and the Offroad smell hit me. "Get over the smell and enjoy the tobacco" my mind said.

Suddenly, my sig other walks in and asks me if I had cleaned the glass anywhere.. I say "No, why?"

Her reply? "Because it smells like Windex in here"


THATS IT!!

I have finally placed that signature 'Offroad' aroma.. and also possibly figured out why I don't like it.. it reminds me of my least favorite household chore.

I ordered a can of Offroad Wintergreen Long Cut Loose because I used to enjoy Skoal Wintergreen every now and then while I was smoking. I was VERY disappointed with it. I placed an order for a can of Offroad Apple portion with it also and it smells/tastes nothing like apples. Needless to say, I'll refrain from trying anything else from Offroad.

Offroad is a love/hate relationship for many. I would not judge just based off of two of the flavors though. I didn't like the Apple either but love the OR Cranberry Lös as well as the Cranberry portions.
