      Yep yep well done for quitting the cigs! I recently gave up myself in favor of Snus and I can honestly say I enjoy a portion more than having a cigarette after not smoking for a day.

      Just reminded me you talking about rolling tobacco. If you're wanting to cut down on the tobacco intake .. try skinning up with a good quality, low-tar cigarette. The tobacco pads out the joint a lot more than rolling tobacco does (you only need to use like 1/8th of a smoke) and you can barely, *barely* taste it at all.

      I can buy a brand in the UK called Silk Cut Silver -- it's like 0.1mg tar / smoke. I haven't been able to find anything comparable in the United States but I'm sure if you put a little effort into this your herbs will defiantly treat you better for it

        I'm a former smoker. I smoked 1.5 to 2 packs/day. My snus use ramped up steadily during my first week and then leveled off. A can of regular portion snus lasts me 2-3 days, so I probably use 8-10 portions/day, and feel like I get about the same nicotine in a day as I did from smoking, if not more.

        I'm also finding that I use far less if I "hide" the can from myself. When I'm in front of the computer or watching TV, I'll grab the can and have a pouch in my mouth before I realize what I'm doing. I think that's habit which carried over from doing the same thing with cigarettes. If I keep the can in the fridge or another room and only get it when I really, consciously want some, it's probably more like 4-7 portions/day.
