    northerner US warhouse

so they have a US warehouse now, but only ship a few kinds of general from it what a letdown. also they have some american dip but its all sweet sugary crap, i didnt see any natural flavored anything. not even plain copenhagen. weird.

I did notice they are about $5 us cheaper on icetools at northerner. maybe ill finally breakdown and get one. no which size 3,4, or 5 hmm.

northerner is a bit over rated imo. 4 or 5 selections of General, in their US "warehouse".

You gotta start somewhere. What did you expect ? That they were going to ship everything over here and hope it would sell? Sorry to bust your bubble, but Americans don't buy that much snus yet.

I use The Northerner for 90% of my tobacco orders and will continue to do so.

I'll bet they will rapidly increase their stateside stock. Give it 6 months and we'll be getting all our stuff shipped from the US.

I just don't understand what it matters. I place an order, 6 days later I get it from Sweden. I couldn't care less about saving a day or 2 in shipping.

Patience folks, not everything is immediate gratification.

oh i certainly agree with you for the most part, but this would just be another avenue for U.S. snusers to use. AND to easily indtroduce it to new customers.

in addition who knows what the future holds in regards to US tobbacco tax laws, and mail ordering

Me either, but I do like to save 10 bucks or so in shipping costs, if I can.

Northener just opened their warehouse last week and already have 5 varieties of snus.

Camel has been at it for over a year and they only have 2.

Did you smoke before?? If so, how much would you have wasted on cigarettes? How much would you be spending today with the new taxes?

Given how much I save now that I use snus, $10 shipping charges really don't mean much to me. More important is getting the exact snus I want. If eventually Northerner makes it so i spend even less, I guess that's good. But am already making out like a bandit compared to when i smoked.

Along with not having to worry about duty fee's.I got hit by that when I ordered a couple pipes from Denmark. The fed Ex tried to charge a wierd fee,They calculated the charge on the Denmark currency but the total was in US dollars.Example=20% of 400 Denmark coinage ($150) =$80.Took me a while to get it straightened out.

I have been ordering from Sweden for 2+ years. Have always used Swedish post, have never paid a dime to customs. At least 30 orders now. Largest order was $199 and some change.

I hope your luck holds out.I think my problem was more due to Fed Ex,as they were the shipping option and they reported to customs.

Same here. I've never used the pricier shipping options and my snus always arrives within a satisfactory time frame and without any customs charges. It might take a few days longer to arrive than it would if I used UPS or FedEx or whatnot, but I don't mind. To me, the absence of customs charges is worth an extra few days shipping time.

That is exactly your problem. Only folks in the US that have ever had ANY customs issues used Fedex or UPS. Keep your order below $200, use Swedish Post, and you won't have any problems
