Also they have a sweet points system if you're gonna be using a lot of snus, where you get your 6th roll half price (I believe?).

Might have to reconsider my options thought when I come back stateside as I believe the shipping can become prohibitively expensive if you make small orders, although they do kinda guide you towards finding the cheapest shipping option by suggesting how much more you can fit in the current shipping price bracket, if that makes sense?

Ill have a look at the site mate and see how it works out, northener has a bonus points system too though so i suspect there may not be much difference.

Im looking into getting an order from the Northener US warehouse and seeing how that compares with taxes etc although they are limited on what they stock at the minute.

    Cheers Lee.

Im looking into that at the minute, there is a duty but if you keep each order under £18 you can skip that i have been told.

It's a minefield trying to work out the best way lol.

      Cheers

I just tried to order from buysnus. A roll order was $38 in shipping alone. So I went with the trusty (to me at least) site of getsnus. Placed a half roll order along with some other stuff. The half roll of Ettan White was $14 which qualified me for the free mystery can offer. Threw in an Ettan Original portion and a couple of cans for my buddy. All in all, 9 cans came to $4.95 for shipping on my order.

I'm sure they were cheaper shipping options. I've never had an order cost more than $15 shipping, and that was $120 order. Was that price UPS or Swedish Post?

            .

No way shipping was $38 using Swedish Post. On a test order I just did, a roll would be $10. Plus still room for 2 more cans without adding any more to the shipping total

Yeah that does seem extreme! Could that be UPS price?

It was UPS price. They only gave me 3 options. Standard UPS and Priority and then Swedish post which I assumed was within Sweden. I guess it was my mistake.

Yes, Swedish Post is regular mail. Basically, it goes by Swedish Post to the airport, gets put on a plane, and the US Postal Service picks it up after it passes through customs. Typical time door to door is about 6 days.

Ainkor, thanks for the reviews! I came close to ordering each flavor from Stokers but shipping was too high. That is the only thing they sell that I was interested in as I'm not a fan of dip or chewing tobacco.

OK, yesterday I got a package of Discreet snus I requested to sample. The guy was more than generous sending me 2 packs of each(4 kinds). I'll email him back thanking him, plus I wanted to give it an honest trial and tell him my thoughts. But I'll report here now my initial take.

One, we all wish an American company would really make an effort to replicate the "Swedish Style" of snus. Any browse of this any any other snus forum or blog will show it is the Swedish style that is what we like and want.

Ok, the positives of Discreet that was to me, was they had a good smell. I opened the pack, and they smell good, or I thought so. I thought I'd try the Peach 1st. Another positive was the little zip-lock bag, it's simple but practical. Another possible positive may be the "mini" size, but really, this was a negative, because next is taste, and I hate to say it, but it was very small, in fact, it was the taste of the portion material, with a small hint of sweet peach flavor. Also being a small and tasteless for the most part portion, I did not get any, nor do I think I would, enough of the Tobacco effect.

Now bear in mind I only did one, one time, but after a short while this portion bag tasting little pillow with a slight sweet flavor became undesirable in my mouth after a short while and I struggled to keep it in, but spit it out soon after, thinking this tastes like the bag for the most part.

I will take them to to work with me next week and try them all out, and email they guy and tell him my final conclusion. But I will also ask him if he has ever himself tried a genuine Swedish snus, and why not try and make a new line called "Swedish Style", make a bigger portion, just tobacco, salt, and maybe some citrus. I think we'd like to see an American company "get it right", with a loose too.

^ ^ if you use one of the most expensive UPS shipping options on northerner, i know it can be up to that much. i do it when i'm out and need a rush order.

I just received my 8 free pouches of discreet snus (80 portions total), they're mini which means i'll have to suck down a few of them. My opinion so far is that it's not like swedish snus, but ok. I'd prefer if the ingredients were on the packaging, but hey. it's free.

We (badfish and I) got a generous sample of 4 flavoes. Emerald, cool mint, strawberry and peach. I really like the cool mint. Very refreshing after a long 13 hours shift of mostly N&J, Ettan, and Retro. Gives me a nice sweet "clean" feeling in my mouth. Not much on the nic, but as many have said can't have "mini and a kick AND good flavor". I think I'd probably buy some here and there!

Told you guys Tom was awesome...and his snus is good too!

Strawberry Discreet still tops the list for me, but now that I've tried a peach one with the iced tea, let's say it's closing in on the strawberry fast, hehe It won't overtake it, but it's close. I think it's because there's really not much in the way of fruity flavors that I think are really fruity. There is Roda, which is ok, but didn't really taste the "dried fruit" that's supposed to be there, and Jacobson's Ice Fruit just tastes like Juicyfruit gum to me. Not what I consider fruit flavored at all.

As far as the nicotine content goes, he told me it was 7.something per pouch. I don't use anything stronger than 8mg per portion or gram, so it's enough nicotine for me.

I am scared of Strawberry Snus... I have enough of an addiction already.

Where can I get this stuff?
