Now that sounds very promising. I agree. I will ask my buddy to review them. I know he likes them, he told me. He works in a car auction, and he likes the packaging, says it's easy to stick in his pocket. He's still on the smokes though. I'll ask him to write up a paragraph at least, and I'll post it here. Now I know I've been critical, but my critique is based on my own personal tastes. I'm just not a mini fan, and not a flavored fan. But as far as flavored minis go, I think they are well made. They do smell good to me. Keep me informed, I am not the only one here who'd be very interested in seeing a US company actually try to mimic a Swedish Style snus, esp if it's good. Do you have to only make minis?

        mini's

only have the mini machine but I have a deposit on a full size machine so it will be withen 30 days to get it and not the usual two years . So when the DISCREET becomes main stream and I can afford it then you got it just so you know

I just tried my free samples. Even though I prefer unflavored snus I think these are decent. I have tried to get friends and family to make the switch from smoking to snus and for the most part they did not appeciate the flavor. I will definately try to convert them again with discrete snus. It is a good product and I think the flavor profile will be more appealing to first timers tastes. I will have to try the orange as mocca manderin was the first snus I ever tried and it was the one flavored snus that I used. Thanks Tom.

I sure will. I think we all have been looking for an American made Swede style snus.

I'd like to try some of that. As far as your other flavors, my friends like them, particularly the Emerald Ice and Juicy Orange.

Can you imagine a full sized strawberry? Or even better! A Swedish style full sized strawberry! I'm so excited at the possibility of this and very grateful that Tom takes these reviews seriously.

we're lucky dogs. tom is a domestic manufacturer (usa) and he reads stuff. man 'o man, he's nothing short of a national treasure. he's da man. bet he lives in tobacco country or something, where his neighbors grow tobacco. geeze, i'm waiting to hear about this "swedish style" snus. mmm...

Just got mine! Compared to my usual Camel Mellow. this was a jolt! Not at all sweet to me, emerald ice tastes like watercress and mint leaves, cool mint tastes like that, only mintier.
Peachy is just that, probably my favorite.
I didn't get the first flavor you described, but can not get over how much free snus I did get!
2 pkg each of 4 flavors! Strawberry is like the peach, very, very natural flavor.

It’s great to see an American company listening and trying to get it right with consumers. I think Tom has the potential to turn this into a new era for snus, much like Roderick has for snuff with Toque. I’m all for tradition, but variety is the spice of life. I will be very interested to see how his “Pro” line is and will try it out when it becomes available.

                              Things I liked:

Great aroma. My family could smell my Strawberry portion from the other room!

Great flavor, not too sweat, but not to subtle.

                              Good moisture.

Portion material is very good, not irritating to mouth and gums.

Portion size is just the right size

Cleaver, smart packaging. I already have too many empty cans of Snus and it doesn’t make a faded ring on my trousers!

Some things that could be added or made better:

No Expiration or Best Before Date.

Bump up the nicotine level from 7.2 to 8 milligrams. F&L had a winner with Mocca +, it had 8 milligrams. Sadly it is no longer made.

Add more portions. Make it 15 or 20 portions per package, instead of 10.

More flavors available, i.e. Cherry, Eucalyptus, Cola, Root Beer, Tropical Fruit, Tobacco flavor maybe with Bergamot notes. An Energy type would be interesting and there would be market for it. Northerner has one, but the flavor is not pleasant.

I have not tried the straight tobacco flavor, so I cannot comment on it fairly. I do hope that one is available soon and done right. I will be adding Discreet to my daily snus rotation. I actually found my self missing the Strawberry after dinner!

I was "addicted" within 8 hours of first use. Go longer than 4 hours without one now, and I will absolutely notice.

So yeah, now three things I can't leave home without, my normal snus, my snuff, and now my Discreet.
