Where can I order the grape? Getsnus doesn't have it. :cry: Haven't tried any of the flavors yet, but the grape sounds like it's right up my alley.

That is correct. It is still in testing mode. But reviews have been so universally good, I hope we see it at Getsnus soon. I gave away half the grape I got, have 3 more and almost cry at the thought of not having any more. I love the strawberry, the Peach s fantastic. But grape far and away my favorite so far.Comment

I haven't had it enough to comment yet. Maybe tomorrow. But at first taste, liked it more than the apple. For whatever reason, apple is the only one I didn't really take to. It is at work and I will return to it again next week. But at least at first taste, the Pear wasn't as remarkable as the others. I need to give it more time/use. But this is my initial impression:
I found the taste/flavor of these to be good. Slightly salty tobacco. I think some pepper would make it better. I must say, I don't find these preferable to the real Swedish, and I think it is the tobacco base. In real Swedish portion, the base tobacco is clay-like moist los, and these seem from a dry blended mix. I'm not a mini fan either. To me, these are not bad, but for being a rival to real Swedish snus, it's not there yet. Not bad, but not one I would choose over the General, Ettan, Grov, or Skruf. It does have positive potential though. I think the area for improvement is adding some pepper, and makeing the base tobacco ground more like a coarse snuff, and being moist.
Well, I definately want to thank Tobacco Tom for the samples, and for listening, and trying, and truly caring and really interested.
Trying to always be honest when critiquing a product, it is always just my personal opinion, and personal suggestions.
When I put a General Sterk in, or a Claq Cui, I think, wow, this is great! Now I know these companies have been around a while, and they should give such a response. In contrast, when I put ones of these in, it's like... for a little while, and then, hmm, this isn't bad, has a decent taste. Now, this is not meant to be a slight towards it at all.
But, I, and I think all of us, would love to see a US company make a snus that is really comparable to great Swedish snus. I know to keep in mind, this is just a test. I believe it was a positive outcome, but I would not say a fully realized ideal.

Swedish Style Test
So Tom502 was nice enough to share some Swedish style with me
For the first time EVER, an American company has made a real Swedish snus. Period, this is the real deal. It is a mild, white mini. For those that haven't dug the sweetness of the rest of Tom's offering, there is no sweet. Just a perfect, mild white, similar in many ways to Retro White, but not quite as strong.
But a fabulous snus. If Swedish got taken away, and I just had this, I could be happy forever with it. Would I go out of my way to buy it otherwise, probably not, at least until a full sized came out. I love the other Discreet for a specific purpose, otherwise, I am not much of a mini man.
But absolutely top notch, top quality. Like it even better than Swedish Camel. And full size, would probably compete for my Retro replacement spot.
