Nasvay is widely used in CIS countries such as Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan: in 2005 over 40% of the rural male population was using it.
Nasvay - nicotine containing product. It consist of small green balls, grains with the unpleasant smell and the taste.
It is made in household conditions. Basic components of nasvay are cheap tobacco, slaked lime (instead of lime it can be used hen dung or camel dry manure), component of different plants, oil. For an improvement in the taste the seasonings sometimes are added.
