Got a tin a general los today along with a prismaster. First I tried to hand bake....a complete disaster, then I formed a pris with the prismaster. I popped it in and love how soft it is on the gums. Much more comfortable than portions....but so messy. I was talking to my sister, trying to be discreet, and she looked at me and said "what the hell happened to your teeth?" I looked in the mirror and they were completely black! Covered in snus. I guess it takes time to get used to  But I like it alot! Thanks to all the los pros here who gave tips on using it! I'll use them and hopefully get better in the future. Its great though!

Yeah its great...I don't taste much more of a difference than general original portions. Los is a bit more subtle though. But it will be just for use at home. I don't think I'll ever use it in public, like at a bar or something. Portions are just too good for that.

Seriously. I started off using loose here and there. But the comfort on the gums and the subtle, lasting flavor quickly amounted to me using it about 80 percent of the time. Now I only use portions when I have to be discreet (in class, when talking to women or friend's parents, etc.).
Other than that, you'll rarely find me without a pris of Ettan in my upper lip. Watch out. Loose snus grows on you as you get more comfortable with it. (If you allow yourself to get comfortable with it.)
EDIT: Me and my typos...

From what I noticed today...Los is really the same thing as portions. The portions are just alot cleaner, and easier to use. But the los, lets you choose the pris size and enjoy it equally the same. Both are snus, and I'm sure I will continue to enjoy both the same.
IMHO...I taste NO difference between general los, and general original portions. Both are just fantastic.

Yeah I still taste no difference between general portions and los. Both are the same great flavor, and equal amount of salt.
But.....
What I noticed is how you form the pris. If it is tight and well packed, it tends to drip less, so there is a less taste to it (and less salt). But if the pris is loose and gets slightly mushy, the taste is very strong and salty, because tiny bits of the snus get into your mouth.
