    Roda Lacket

It's strange, they describe the flavor as fruity, and I get that with the los. It's a mix of dried fruit, like dried figs and raisins. The portions, however, tastes a lot like strawberries for me with the earlier flavors as an afterthought. It's like strawberry jam, and it rocks something fierce as a desert snus for me.

OH YEAH, I love this shit and sadly I'm out. Poor planning on my part, but got a roll on the way!

I prefer the loose because it still has the mild fruity taste without the overt sweetness of the portions. The tobacco and fruit elements are more balanced in the loose version, at least as far as my taste buds can detect.

I don't use it ultra regularly, but I tend to always have a few cans in the freezer. Occasionally I just get in the mood for some Roda loose and nothing else will do.

Roda loose is just classic. The only thing I'd change about it is the grind. I'd prefer a medium-coarse to coarse grind.

Roda Lacket right now is my favourite snus. I have a roll of white portions in my fridge. I would like to try loose Roda, a lot of people love it.

I used to really buzz off RL. Had a roll of it lately though, and I must say... it was a bit of a struggle to get to the bottom of it. I'm not sure if the fruity flavor which became a bit overpowering or if it was their new can design (?) (what were they thinking -- the old one was awesome) that got to me.

I would agree however with all the previous comments, definitely a great desert snus... not too sweet, nicely balanced and a pleasant change from the traditional taste.

I gotta say that Roda loose is one of my favorite snuses.

For anyone considering giving it a try defiantly go for it.

Also, remember from an American perspective often describing something as fruit flavored means it taste like Juicy Fruit gum. Roda (at least the loose) does not fit that category. The flavoring enriches the Tobacco and you come away with a deep smooth taste.

i've only had roda portions, but have some roda los coming in 4 more days...hopefully. I waited to try the los until I was sure los was my thing, so I ordered a few cans to try.

How does Roda los compare in taste to the portions, is there a marked difference, because I've noticed that in some brands the portion is different than the los...

The lös is very different from the portions. People have been saying they taste fruit in the lös, but damned if I did. I've only had the 1 tin, and that was when I was first getting into lös, so there may be some fruit in there.

It's extremely finely ground, and I don't care for it for that reason. Prima Fint's the same way. I find the very fine grinds, kind of "pickle" my gums. I think it's because they they plaster themselves to my gums so tightly, the salt has more of a chance to work it's magic :^D It also harder to remove, and you end up spitting out a slimy mud as opposed to a few large chunks with the coarse blends.

Roda is one of my faves also, los or portion, tastes like strawberry jam on buttered toast IMO

I don't know about the los so much, but the portions to me taste like tropical punch kool aid without the sweetness

Roda portions remind me of strawberries mixed with rasins... doesn't sound as good as it tastes.

I also really enjoy Claq Qui, one of my top five at the moment.

I have an RL portion in right now and it tastes like trail mix, heavy on the sunflower seeds.
