    So I was thinking...

I have recently started using more and more los snus. I really would like to purchase an ice tool, but don't quite have the extra money yet (my extra money is my snus money). So I have been stuck using a prismaster.

I have gotten a little more used to it, so don't mind the shape so much anymore but I still don't like it. Now I haven't used an ice tool, but it appears that the shape is different in that it is round and perhaps not so thick with one.

So my question is, why not make a round prismaster? It seems that just a little tweek in its shape could make a big difference for people who can't afford an ice tool. I don't think it would hurt ice tool sales any, because people would still want one for the quality, and for the...can't quite think of the word...but it is more of a luxury item.

I can't help but wonder why this hasn't been done. What do you all think?

I agree, the round IceTool shape is superior. If you want an IceTool on the cheap, get a 3ml syringe from the pharmacy. Cut off the end, wrap something around the handle to keep the end from popping through, and it works pretty well. I bought one for 25ยข, no tax at a local pharmacy. I was dressed in some grubby work clothes when I went in, and they probably thought I was a junky(syringe had a needle) :^D

That is a great idea, I think I may do that. Thank you lxskllr!

I read something about using a syringe right after I joined here, and thought that was a great idea. So when my first los came with the pris master, I had a 3ml syringe also at the ready. It works pretty damned nicely BTW.

Maybe I'm one of the few who thinks this, but I wish Icetool came in the prismaster shape. I think the prismaster shape is more discreet.

I'm the exact opposite. The shape the Prismaster makes is very impractical for me. I just practiced my hand-baking skills until they were perfected. I used the Prismaster a few times and hated the shape, since it made the bump in my lip obvious and showed alot of snus on my teeth.

I agree. I don't understand the cylindrical shape. It doesn't make sense to me, considering that the space in the lip into which it goes is not cylindrical. If Icetool would make a PrisMaster shaped pris, I might think about getting one. What would be the icing on that cake would be a plunger with an indentation in it so that the end of the pris that your tongue contacts first is beveled instead of a flat football shape.

The Prismaster's kludgy in general. I don't care for the shape, and the slider's very sticky. It beats a blank for the hard to bake snus', but I'd generally rather hand bake than use it.
