Dry portions / purified portions box

Hello all, I have started using snus a while ago to help me to quit smoking and it works great. Last week I got wine and dine gourmet purified snus but i wonder if there is something wrong because there seems to be a bit of kind of brown powder in the box. Dont know if this is normal with dry / purified portions?

Im not positive, but I can tell you that the can of Oomph that came with my tryout box has brown powder as well so I think that may be normal.

It's normal. I got some of that stuff for a friend who was staying with me that was thinking about quitting smoking. Kind of found the flavor to be bland.

        Welcome to Snuson sandras.

Amazingly fast replies, good to know thats normal, thanks. Started using snus with General extra strong and they have done a good job keeping me away from smoking but wanted to try something that could use same time as drinking.

Today is 30 days without smoking (was a heavy smoker for almost 20years) and big thanks goes to snus.

We are good around here sandras.

My best advice, don't overstress the smoking thing. What makes snus so different than trying to go cold turkey is if you DO have a cigarette, doesn't mean you will have a second.

I have posted my story many times before but always bears repeating. i did not come to snus to quit smoking, I was only looking foir a substitute so i wouldn't have to leave the sales floor I managed at the time as frequently as I was. But funny thing happened, I just started liking the snus more and more and smoked less and less, until one day, I stopped buying cigarettes. Many, many, MANY folks here stopped smoking in similar ways.

What I love most about snus is it allows me to have that occasional cigarette when that is what I want, no longer what I need.

                Welcome home Sandras!!

Not to worry. I believe that the white powder and the brown powder are just different brands of roach powder that they use in the warehouse. It won't hurt ya.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Welcome to the site and I'm happy you decided to quit smoking. I did almost two months ago, and snus will take care of the cravings, for certain.

haven't tried the flavor you're referring to, but I'm sure that it's good to go. I sometimes get a can of portions with the same dust, and I've always assumed it was tobacco powder that has come through the portion material, or just an open portion. Sometimes that happens too.

                      again, welcome to the site!

Ive only been snusing a couple of weeks and Im already leaving my smokes at home when I leave. I dont feel like I am having to "try" to quit, but Im so jacked up on nicotine from the snus that I dont feel like I need em.

Classic progress. I remember when I too started to leave without mine. Was maybe a month later I just started to forget to buy them any more
