elixyr Power Energy... might surprise you

So, I ordered 5 cans of this to wake up in the morning instead of using rot-gut american dip. Everyone prepared me to taste cat piss, automotive fluid, and mushrooms, and instead it tastes pretty good!

perhaps if they named the flavor "limeade" people would dig it more, because to me that's exactly what it tastes like.(and I used to drink stewarts limeade by the truckload). The juice is very rough, however, to me that's not a problem as I was used to spitting dip juice in the morning. A secondary thing it reminds me of is skoal citrus.

and another surprise- the buzz or kick is mild. At least to me. It did get me out of bed pretty well, and I'm glad not to be overwhelmed by a mind-erasing nicotine buzz in the morning. It seems as though it's just enough for me (I'm completely in the 8-12mg category)

so if a bitter citrus flavor is something you can dig and you like the idea of caffeinated snus, don't pass it up. I'll let yall know if it turns on me, but first impression is half the battle

Tried to get used to this one but the caffeine kick really didn't work as well as I would have liked, not to mention taste wouldn't go away. Coffee and nice tasting snus for me now.

I'm charmed that my opinion counts. note that me and sage have remarkably similar habits with snus, I'm slowly moving towards all-white portions as well. I just use about 1/3 as much

I haven't tried it yet, but it has one of the worst reviews on northerner, and I'm sure it's because of the taste. I'd rather have coffee to get caffeine, with my snus. But I will have to give this snus a shot, you never know what your tastes will like.

I still drink coffee as well- and this certainly wouldn't go well with coffee! but maybe an energy drink.

The issue for me was getting caffeine before I even sit up in bed- this provides that option. but like I said it didn't kick my ass.

all i know is the exlixyr peppermint is groooosssssssss, and i've had some gross snus, and it's the worst. i'm shying away from elixyr/rebel.

Again (for the thousandth time), Elyxr is NOT a snus you use for teh taste, simply the functionality of it. I don't have time to make coffee in the morning. Throw one in as I get up, and I am starting to feel good by the time I step out of the shower.

I still love my coffee, but now, I can get done what I have to get done first at work before I even have a chance to make some. Elyxr is just incredibly functional. Maybe it isn't for you. But to not even try it and see if it is useful for you just strikes me as...........

Every now and then I drink a energy drink and vodka and Elixyr had a very similar taste. Unless you actually enjoy energy drinks I can see why there is so much negativity to this product.

Limeade indeed! Nail, head, hammer on that one!

If you "debake" the portions a little (roll them around between your thumb and index finger to "fatten 'em up"), they have a nice, discreet fit in your upper lip - otherwise they WILL be too big, and I can see why some people were complaining about scratchiness. It's like a mini-portion's worth of snus in a slightly-large size package (think Oden's or Offroad) - which results in flat, somewhat sharp edges.

And, yeah, the flavor is like no other snus I've had. "Limeade" really puts it perfectly. Limeade with a slightly medicinal note to it - cilantro, raw peppermint leaf, maybe a hint of sage or basil. Or that cocktail sauce for shrimp that tastes sorta like lawn grass. Or a less-minty, sorta-evil version of Jakobsson's Icefruit.

Not the best-tasting snus out there (not by a longshot), and the taurine makes my heart race (I can see why people mistake taurine's effects as being similar to caffeine's, but they're wrong - just like how smoking a carton of Marb Reds in a night will make you feel sorta like you've run a five-mile marathon), but at less than four bucks, it's hard not to justify trying a can.

Especially if you love limeade
