I've been looking at loose snus for a while and have got the inkling I want to try some. I have a simple question and I'm sure you know what it is by this point. Is there any flavored loose snus besides the Offroad, which due to some of the taste issues people seem to have I am not sure about trying. I just started snusing a few weeks ago and am at General Mint Mini right now (as many of you have read), but have been thinking about a jump to some loose. General Los is a bonus points item at Northerner. Would that be going overboard and send me into shock after General Mint and Camel portions or do you think i could handle it? Nonetheless, I'd rather have something flavored for the time being

After your mini mint experience I'd say anything stronger would be downright hallucinogenic... No, to be serious, I second lxskllr's gotlands suggestion. I can't speak for any los that is labeled with a particular flavor as I've only really stayed with the classics. Which is to say no Offroad for me. Goteborgs Rape has a nice profile, and I recommend my personal favorite skruf to anyone looking for good los. Roda is pretty good for classic flavor with pruny notes IMO, and ettan and grov are great. Gotlands Gul is quite good, and about as much "flavor" as I can handle in a los. Citrus and pine, good stuff. Some folks really like offroad wintergreen as I understand it, but it does not sound good to me personally.

I find Ettan lös to be very nice for flavoring.
I've talked about it before, and at the risk of sounding like a lunatic I'll repeat it here.
there are some very nice food grade flavorings out there, most are very strong, I myself might add a few (3) drops (just drops, no splashes) of anise (licorice), vanilla, cinnamon, mint etc. to a full tin of lós snus shake it up and let it sit for a night, the next day I make a pris and see if it's been flavored enough, if not I add flavor to taste usually only one or two drops more.
Some will put lemon/lime/orange/apple peels in their snus tins for a bit of moisture and taste.
I just happen to like extracts because they are concentrated in taste and don't cause me to have to dry out my snus due to being too wet.

Ok Skimo, I have to ask, cause I had thought about that before. You are using extracts for that? And what los are you flavoring? I would think General would be good for that. I'm a skruf los user mainly though, and I love the flavor the way it is, but I certainly wouldn't mind trying it a different way.
Snusages, I assume you are just talking about the regular General los. I think you would be fine. Since you are doing minis though, I would completely stay away from Oden's los flavors, or anything sterk/stark. I do mainly Skruf Stark los, which is a strong nicotine snus, and Oden's almost killed me.
I wish I liked Offroad cause their flavors seem interesting, but I cannot stand that brand. The smell puts me off way too much, and I'm not into their other brands (I believe these are made by V2? Ick for me).
So, in a long winded response of me babbling, General los is a great starting point.

by GuestGotlandssnus' foundations are built on three generations of snus experience, with the first snus on Gotland being produced in 1741. Using Alida tobacco, grown on the island of Gotland, in every one of their snus brands gives their snus a unique flavor that can only be found in Gotlandssnus.
Gotlandssnus is also the first ones to create a Christmas time snus, Julesnus, that's been a favorite since it's inception in 2003. Below is a list of the brands they produce-
