    Mixing los

Well i came across the other topic that mentioned mixing los. I have about 5 cans 1/3 full in the fridge. My favorite is Ettan, followed by Gotlands yellow, but they are both fine grind and hard to control. My favorite for taste and control is Roda Lacket, that clay like consistency. So 1/3 of each were blended into a clean plastic can, Oh my! A new taste! control still an issue, maybe more Roda, but a whole nother world, blending los!

      Whalen,

I have always wondered about blending snus but have yet to try.

Post back in a few days and let us know how it has matured. I have done a bit of blending with Pipe tobacco and have found that a few days will tell me a lot about the blend and about how I like it.

I have been working on this for a little bit now, it seems that some of the flavors play well together, and some do not. Very interesting results. It seems that two flavors mix well, but adding a third did not. I was mainly interested in trying to tame some Ettan. I have become quite smitten by Grov los now. Ettan and Grov are an interesting pair! It is Roda that does not mix well for me.

I've never really mixed lös. I'll put the dregs of 1 tin into another, but I always use snus that has a similar flavor. You can't tell anything's mixed with the brands I use together.

I soon found some los that should not be mixed, but mixing only two can work well, gets weird with three or more. Give it a try!

I always wanted to make my own Diplomat, but they removed a key ingredient before I was able to try. I needed some Level lös to give it earthiness, but they quit making Level lös :bangs head:

I've experimented with mixing loose once trying to create a morning eye opener so to speak. I mixed 50/50 of Skruf Stark and Oden's ES kanel. For effect, the mix had the results i was after. The nic hit come's on slightly slower than skruf alone but much faster than oden's alone. It keeps you at that level for hrs as well. Tastes like skruf for the most part with a faint hint of cinnamon at the end.

A nice pris of this with a expresso shot and big cup of strong coffee definetly gets me going in the morn

This thread has got me to thinking about something that some perhaps may find appealing. I just started on my first can of gotland green portions and to me it tastes alot like green olives, which i like. I've had goteborge's rape bf which tasted like gin to me, which i can't stand gin. Seems like if one emptied the contents of the green portions into some goteborgs loose in the right porportions that you could end up with something that has a martini like taste. Not my kind of thing but some may like that flavor combo. Just a thought.
