BTW, got to test what became Thunder about 6 months ago. Patrick with V2 had the number one poster here test it, and he felt so guilty he sent me half his test kit. They had about 5 versions that they narrowed down to the one. So I had been waiting a long, long time for it. It now is always a snus I have open. The Odens is just Thunder in a different package, and I really love the Cinnamon. But you are right, the best, most smooth and long lasting nic hit available.

I don't hate it, but I think it's very over rated. General, as well as other SM brands don't age well either. They get a flavor reminiscent of a rubber balloon after being open for about a week. It's a good snus, but there's better that have a similar flavor profile.

The balloon taste I get is with the lös. I haven't used enough of the portions to really know.

I'm tempted to buy a roll of Thunder now. I liked it that much. I'm not used to such high nic. intakes...and that stuff...actually almost kicked my ass the first few times I tried it...but I liked the feeling, figures.

It's good after reading the forums, that I'm also not the only person that has several different cans open because they like to try different ones during the day.

As for the Cinnamon, it is good...the one thing I can't get past...is when I open it...the smell almost gets me, but no problem once I get it in my mouth. Rofl! I need to remember to like open the can away from my face and not take a big whiff about...I'm thinking it's my old cigar habit in the back of my mind. :lol:

As far as I can tell that's a mini with 4mg.

Somehow I can't picture someone that uses Thunder and Skruf Stark on a regular basis using 4mg minis. :roll:

Grovsnus, Black Portion has a Vanilla highlight and it's nicotine content is more in line with what he normally uses.

Justin, you hit the nail on the head bud...If you notice I have a can of opened Grov Black in there. I use one of these every time I have a cup of coffee. Since i've been outta work I havn't been drinking much coffee but I may have just found a job again. The coffee/vanilla trial was just something different to try for something sweeter with the coffee. After the trial run i am probably going to stick with the grov black but this offroad really isn't as horrible as people are saying i.e. spitting it out the second it hits your gums..etc...

I'm waiting for the Thunder stark minis to come out this August (according to the V2 web site). Supposable they will pack an 8 in the nic department.

I primarily use loose but will use a portion for long meetings etc... I find the minis to be a bit more discrete but like Justintempler said the regular minis just don’t do it for me

After 2 years of using snus, thunder made me change how i went about it. Traditionally, I chain snus. from morning to night, I always had a snus in. But with Thunder, I simply couldn't. The nicotine would build up too much.

Now, I always pair the Thunder with a regular snus. I might have a Thunder, then my next 2 or 3 snus will be regular before I have another Thunder.


And don't smell the snus. :lol: :lol:
