There seems to be a pattern for Swedish Match. New Product launches
May and November and if the product doesn't sell it gets dropped by the 6 month mark or the one year mark.

They gave N&J east/west one year and it didn't catch on.

Last November saw the launch of:
General Ekstra Sterk, Claq Qui, Grovsnus Svart

So if you like new products support them so they don't disappear

And yes, sagedil, I did, unfortunately dip out of using snus. Was very broke, busy, and distracted. Funnily enough, a co-worker gave me a few Camel snus to make work between smoke breaks easier, and upon popping these in, I remembered how much better the Swedish stuff is. Granted, I went ahead and got a few tins to hold me over between orders, and I don't mind the candy-like flavors, so I can't say I hate 'em. Just can't wait for the real stuff again!

...Oh, I need Gotlands yellow and green next time, come to think of it...

Yaaaaaaaay! Got my order in today! I've decided to only keep two tins open at a time, in order to make my precious supply of snus last longer. I burn through money so quickly, man, and plan on getting nasal snuff along with my next order. I'd also rather not revert back to Camel, either. It isn't terrible (to me), but the sickly-sweetness of it is a bit cloying and gets old rather quickly.

I tried the Mocca Mint, and it's pretty nice and refreshing. After the extreme sweetness of the Camel Snus (Frost), the lack of artificial sweetener caught me off guard momentarily. Good, but doesn't stand out.

Trying the Roda Lacket after promising to try it over a year ago before I dipped out ( ops: ) was exciting. Just as I was assured, the advertised licorice taste is nonexistent--I noticed indeed that it's no longer described as having a licorice flavor to it on Northerner now--and I get hints of a pleasant fruitiness. I'm sure to re-order this again (after trying out EVERYTHING I want to try first)!

I am aware that, after 4 years of smoking, my senses of taste and smell have been dulled, so I'm sure my take on these is bound to change over time--and I can't wait! I remember from my previous experience with Goteborg Rape No2 that this happened--after days of tasting nothing but juniper, juniper, juniper, I finally detected a yummy berry flavor in it. It was awesome! Too bad I had to be a butthole and get back into smoking!

And yes, this time I definitely plan to quit the cigs. I'm confident that a combination of both snus and snuff (which I'm anxious to try) will kill the stupid urges to smoke within me :twisted:

Snuff was the final straw for my cigarette habit. Snuff hits quick and snus keeps me level. It's a powerful one two punch. I use snus mostly but every time I want a smoke I sniff a pinch and the craving evaporates.
