    Offroad Snus

I've had a flick throught the posts and can't find anything -

Just wanted to ask what people thought of Offroad as it's fricking cheap and the nic level looks great.

Portions are rougher and flavor is skeptical at times.
The long cut wintergreen is awesome for when I want a lower lip of tobacco.
It's worth giving a shot, some like them and some don't. If you find a flavor of offroad you enjoy, then it's worth finding since it's cheaper than other brands.

I recall Sagedil mentioned that Offroad loose is better than portion. I had a can of Offroad loose liquorice thrown in as a free tin once and enjoyed that.

I have no problem with the supposed roughness of Offroad's portion material. It's the same material that is used in Phantom, and I use Phantom a lot.

As to the flavors, some are good , some suck. Depends on the user. The lös is better than the portions. I can't think of a flavor that I like the portions better, but there are some flavors that I like the portions just fine.

V2 is really working hard to improve their products. They have improved a lot just in the last year. If you haven't tried them lately give it another shot.

Not the best snus out there, but definately not the worst! And the prices are great. Probably gonna catch some crap here, but IMO the coffee vanilla is actually pretty decent.

All I reported is folks who have tried both say the los is much better. Have never had the los myself.

For *most* folks, the Offroad portions have some really odd and off putting after taste issues. Consistent with everything Offroad puts out. Folks who have had both say the los does not carry this characteristic.

Bets advice, stuff is cheap, try one or two cans at most, see if it works for you. When I first started using snius, and was WAY poorer than I am now, I used nothing but Offroad strong for several months. It worked to get me away from Cigartettes, but I rarely, if ever, have it any more

...........but I......on the other hand, think OR coffe/vanilla is the best. Its like the only snus I use.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I'm one of the closet Offroad fans too. And yes, I do like the coffee vanilla! But I do agree with the one who said their los is better than the portions. I'd say the los I've gotten from them (ice mint and wintegreen) is excellent, and the portions of theirs that I've tried so far (coffee vanilla and apple) are very good. My next order at getsnus will probably be mostly Offroad Los since I just got the sampler package of the Offroad portions.

I won't use any V2 portions, as I've had about 12, and haven't liked any of them. The lös I'm slowly getting around to trying, and is much more usable. The licorice is a favorite of mine, and if I confirm that the Phantom Brown is the same as the test cans, that'll be a favorite also. The other 2 Phantoms are ok, but not what I look for in a snus. I have some IceMint coming in also, and I'm hoping that'll be good. I really like mint(peppermint) in tobacco.

I liked the Wintergreen over the Icemint. The Icemint seemed to leave the cool mint feeling in my mouth but not the taste. ... (if that makes any sense)

I've tried pretty much everything that V2 makes, and I have to say it all tastes pretty terrible to me. I've even gone back and tried the brands that supposedly taste better now than they used to, and they still taste like ass.

I really dislike wintergreen so I haven't tried that. Thunder Frosted looked interesting, but I'm not so much interested in high nic snus, and I prefer spearmint as a subtle additive, as opposed to a primary flavor in things.

I dont like Wintergreen either. I do like the frosted. It IS very heavy on the spearmint but I do enjoy a couple a day. Also I like em when Im doing yardwork or something because they are kinda cooling.
