    Granit portions

I've been finding more and more that it's not all about the price. Some of the cheaper are just as good as the more expensive ones.

I have been thinking about throwing a couple cans of Granit portions on my next order. I was wondering if there was any snus out there that the flavor of Granit can be compared to.

Granit is similar to General. But better in some ways. I am addicted to the lös, But the portions are great, the Maxi portions rock.

I have to agree with the maxis, they are great. I find the taste of granit to be more satisfying that general, more earthy.

Cool! Sounds like a decent product. I'm looking for more economical alternatives to some of my more expensive favorites. Any suggestions to brands similar to Skruf, N&J, or Ettan(all portions)?

N&J and Ettan stand alone IMO and I can't really think of anything that is comparable in taste.

The Knox portions (unavailable at the moment) are the closest budget snus to Skruf, but I prefer Skruf. I'd suggest trying a can when it becomes available again.

Perhaps also try Grov or Retro Original portions? I find them both to be quite similar in flavour profile, and a bit stronger tobacco flavour than Ettan IMO.

Granit is quite good, I have one under my lip right now, and it has the same flavor "profile" as General, but much less refined, if you ask me. But if you need a budget snus that tastes like General, Granit is your best choice. I'm just finishing a roll now and it was DIRT cheap. Knox is also a good Skruf alternative, but the portions are out of production. I still buy the Knox Los because it's pretty damn good and very easy to keep in your mouth.

I actually have some retro original on order now, and was planning on trying the grov portions since I love the los. Great suggestions!

I like Granit, tastes like General but doesn't burn my throat.

I just put in a pris of Granit lös; My first in awhile. My impression hasn't changed, I still like it better than General.

Who makes Granit? Does it have that same peppery flavor?

It still says F&L on the tin, but BAT owns the snus division now. It's a touch coarser than General, and it does have the peppery notes. The citrus is a touch stronger also.

.....who also makes Mocca Anis, which I enjoy as much as Granit white portions.

Mocca is also made by F&L.
