Thanks for the info. Interesting that a British company owns Skruf. Can they even sell their product in the UK under the EU ban?

I don't think it tastes like pickles, but it does indeed suck. It's the only lös snus I've thrown out. Any price is too much for Kronan.
Have you ever tried the portions? They could rename it "Kronan Dill Picklesnus" and it would make sense. The lös is pretty bland but the regular portions taste just like a dill pickle. The whites have yet to grace my gums. 8)

Justintempler: So they own it 100% now. I was looking for a more recent article to see if they ended up buying up the rest of the shares. I wonder if they're ever going to replace the "Skruf AB" trademark with the "Imperial" trademark on the cans themselves. Does this mean that Davidoff tastes similar to Skruf and Knox? :?

I got the whites in my very first box of snus. I wasn't quite sure what to think. I didn't necessarily like or dislike it, but thought it had promise. I then got the lös to make my mind up. Yuk. I tried using it, but I just couldn't keep it in my mouth. It seems to me it was fairly flowery, and it reminded me of art putty(flavor, not consistency). I kept for a little while, but I figure life's too short to use crappy snus. If I'm not enjoying it, I might as well quit.

Let me just add I am about sick of this. Do you realize that by the time it is all said and done it will be easier and less expensive for us to get illegal substances like pot than it will be for us to buy a safe and perfectly legal one like snus.

And as credit cards, taxes, and government regulations are making it harder and more costly for us to buy snus, the dumb asses at Swedish Match are hiking the prices in a brilliant maneuver to make their product completely inaccessible.

But you say, “no snusdog, Swedish Match is breaking in to the American market. We will be able to by snus right here in the states and in some places we already can”

Well go ahead and tell me boys how does that stale can of $11 General taste to ya.

Sorry for the rant. Its over. I'm all better now.

                Lower price?

                "Kronan - The Lowprice Snus

Swedish Match wanted to offer snus users a quality snus at a lower price, that's how Kronan was born.

The market share of lowprice snus is about 10,6%, and Kronan is the largest amoung the lowprice brands on the swedish market."
When did Kronan cease to exist as a bargain-priced snus?
And why is it still advertised as such??

                Single can $ 3.53
                10 cans = $32.63
                (save 8%)

                  I like the pickle taste

I dont understand why its more than Ettan or Grov right now
